- My first-time surf fishing for sharks! This week, I am shark fishing with my friend Tim and using the SwellPro drone to fly out our fishing bait on the beach. This is my first time specifically targeting these huge sharks while surf fishing and I can’t wait to fight them. I have a feeling I won’t need my gym membership anymore. Hi Guys, I tried texting you. But It Didn't work from the UK.
I really want to get a fishing drone now! I used to swim out to the 3rd or 4th sandbar, and cast out for sharks at Mustang Island. I would open the bale and swim back before reeling them in.
Back when I fished on Padre and Mustang Island we didn't have drones! What a great idea! I waded out to second bar and cast! You guys have the equipment and I love the conservation. Enjoybwatching your videos!
You need to come to Louisiana and fish! The reds and trout are everywhere! Hell they are even catching big Speckled trout and Redfish in Lake Ponchatrain! You really should travel here and make a video or two!
Brendan, you are such a genuinely kind person. You can tell by how people react around you. Of course they want to help you learn their part of the world because you are an earnest learner. It’s so nice to see that mode of being. Keep doing what you are doing! Just watched this episode with my 6 year old son. I hope to get him out there on the coast soon using what I’ve learned from you.

The suspense was killing us as the rest of us were all in the water, but finally we saw the black tip 🦈 surfaced and we actually walked on water that day! Hilarious 😂 🤣

Im new to the channel love being able to see nice spots around the Houston area having just moved here from the South Padre Island area. Really enjoy the enthusiasm and the passing of knowledge from father to son it definetly hits home.
With that being said I noticed from your thumb nail you have not had a chance to read a recent version of TWC rule book. Non-offset, non-stainless steel circle hooks must be used when fishing for sharks in TX state waters its been in effect since 2019. In my experience even having steel leaders attached to stainless steal hooks can land you in hot water if the game warden decides your going to have a bad. Once had to show a video of me gar fishing with a gar leader I left in my bag while shark fishing back home at the east cut.

Hawaii shoreline game fish is called the “Ulua” aka Jack Trevally..
World record is 150lb..
On the Big island our method is “slide baiting” TH-cam it. Large . Tuna circle hook is common..

Down here in south texas they catch 10-12 foot tiger sharks all the time. ive never caught one before but i dont usually target sharks.

The biggest shark that I caught was 6 and a half foot long at Tybee Island Georgia.

That's cool 😎 man and you tagged n measure etc, people in the UK 🇬🇧 are tagging via NOAA I think, you record location size species then tagg and all information goes into a data base and then 🦈 tagged shark's have an id and health and distance etc can be recorded it's all for a greater good, hopefully our grandkids will still be lucky enough to fish these beautiful creatures 😀

Wanted to know if anybody knows what’s that blue thing called to where they place around there waist? An do you have to have a pole with those type or grooves or can it be any type of pole that fits?
Cool idea using the drone to drop baits in a good spot,
You should try pins. The cutoff is at 30 miles down, and you don't have to go that far out 3rd gut I've seen guys with 3 or 4 feet out the back of their 8' bed with the tail cut off for bleeding it out that was a nice red if it was on lighter tackle would have been a better fight
