I like how this What If video has an explorer character that shows us what he’s experiencing, it makes the video more engaging and interesting for the audience.
I know what life used to be like decades ago in Germany and it was already pretty shitty back then. And I watch channels here on youtube to see just how much shittier the country has become since I left in disgust. You have no life, that is a fact.

If you'd like to see sci-fi take on a near future manned mission to this world, check out the movie Europa Report. It depicts how dangerous that mission could be and life beneath the ice could be more complex than we thought. Not a movie with much mass appeal but worth a watch for those with an esoteric interest in this subject.
we're not going to talk how the tech visor is saying europa is 57.9 million km away from the sun *when they literally said its 5 times further from the sun than the earth which is 150million km away itself?* (2:18)

0:45 Really? Well I guess we should go in a space suit then. 3:25 Sadly it is because of the proximity to Jupiter and it's magnetic field that that the probity for life on that moon would be low. 5:55 Ice volcanos? That is so cool. Get it? Because ice is cold? hahaha. 6:08 Or you could use a plasma drill. It would be much faster. This is new tech and a prototype is being tested in New York State. But it looks promising. 8:01 Fun? ;)
Hope they're not like necromorphs or we'll be wiped for sure. Necromorphs are alien in the game lore of *dead space* who mutate dead bodies into weird looking aliens.
I can only assume you are pretty young, because all the people I know that are subbed to this channel are 30 plus and they find the new cgi corny as heck
I still love Arthur C. Clarke's 'Odyssey Two' wherein the Chinese Space Agency lands on Europa with others puzzling over them taking survey and drilling equipment and not enough fuel to return. Turned out in a daring mission they landed on Europa, drilled below the ice and filled with water for fuel. Everything was going well until their lighting attracted some kind of tendril life form that wrecked everything. In this grandiose saga Jupiter is turned into a secondary sun and the aliens begin cultivating intelligent life on Europa.
So my question is how do we figure that Europa is thermal active at the core versus being a dead moon like our moon? The friction from tidal forces can generate heat but that is a separate thing.
If it generates it's own magnetic field then it has it's own molten metal core. On the other hand if it doesn't have a magnetospere then I'm not sure how we could prove if it had a molten core or not....I would assume not

Sensible question, imo.

That ending is all time.
I really loved that film ❤
And for those who want a game centered around the exploration of Europa, Barotrauma is a great co-op horror/military game for that.
I found it mildly interesting, but the found footage format got old for me right after Blair Witch. Watch for the ending.
Excellent movie.....
I love Chase’s personality :)
I don't, he's a retard
I like the ideas of the videos but what ruins it for me is his "personality", it's just being annoying and idiotic.
@@ledhizagreed sometimes it’s just a tiny bit too much
He dies in every episode 😂😂😂

You must be funny at the parties.
The stats have got mixed up with those of Mercury.
‘Europa’ is in my country the translation of europe so i was really confused when i red the title ahahah
You wouldn't necessarily need a thermal unit in your space suit. Jupiter's radiation should be able to keep you nice and toasty.
I don't think that's quite how radiation works. Europa is still cold. Thermal radiation is a thing though.
