You brought it up with this All Father Thor bit but I've been thinking there hasn't been a time travel story (as far as I know) where the travellers read or know a certain history and when they travel back they witness a history completely different than their knowledge and, by circumstance, their intervention makes the history they know the truth. It'd be pretty damn interesting with a twist on "history is written by the victor."
