- The Prince of Wales and the President of France laid wreaths at the statues of King George VI, the Queen Mother, and Charles de Gaulle in a ceremony at Carlton Gardens in central London.
Thursday marked the 80th anniversary of General De Gaulle’s “Appel” to resist the German occupation of France. Report by Zaina Alibhai.

Thanks Michel. It's understandably a very difficult subject for the French given our history, Dunkerque, Mers-el-Kébir, the terrible bombing of Caen and other places during the war, plus of course that essential (and important) French pride. From what I hear there is terrible anti-British (or perhaps just anti-English) feeling in France at the moment. We really need to see more of what brings us together - as Macron was doing here.

So, where is the 14 days quarantine for people who come in and out from country? Macron come from France. Why is not in quarantine? Why Prince Charles and future Queen Camilla are not in quarantine? They were in Scotland. It is forbiden to meet anybody for 14 days quarantine because you come from other country. So, I can't go in Sounth of France because of the 14 days quarantine but, they can freely do without quarantine? Macron should pay 1000 punds fees by not respecting the quarantine rules! I am watching you, Macron , you shoud stay in quarantine 14 days and another 14 days quarantine when you return in France! The quarantine is for all as I undestrand!

The royal couple have been in isolation for nearly 3 months and are acting upon govetnment orders. Don't think 14 quarantine applies to heads of state on official business.
