Frustrating matchup for Little Mac but thats the sacrifice you're willing to take
@@stormcutter59 I don't wanna say skill issue, that's mean, but I think you could probably be exploiting them more in that case. Mac's got dummy framedata if you let him play his game, but Ness is pretty good at not doing that.
@@juniperrodley9843 yeah there’s a constructive way of saying it. If you let Mac play his game, you’re losing. I don’t think Ness has to really interact with little Mac all that much.

@@stormcutter59 True yeah. Dealing with it is a matter of skill, I'd say, but a lot of very unconventional, not to mention advanced, skills. Certainly not something I could pull off against a competent Mac. I suppose you'd optimally want to condition them into armoring, then grab and throw them offstage, but that'd almost certainly result in a few smash attacks to the face.

Yeah I agree. Also I'd be frustrated just hearing Ness's ONE HIT SOUND over an over again. I swear he only has one and it ALWAYS plays on every hit. It almost feels like a mistake haha

Peanut's Mac is always incredible to watch, but there are still struggles that the character has to deal with match-up wise. Peanut knew what he needed to do which is great so I can't wait to see him come back and destroy this match up next time!!

Don’t get mad a Chris for playing the matchup. Little Mac mains know what’s in store for them on character selection. It’s up to Peanut to surmount those odds.
Crazy to see Peanut lose his cool in bracket, this is the first time I’ve seen it but despite that, he played like a champ. Plus I’d be losing my mind playing my Mac against a Ness too so I understand his pain 😂 the number one reason I don’t go to locals is cuz I’m very emotional so if I start getting beat, I get real mad 😅 watching Peanut’s Mac tho is inspiring (which I’ve said before on this channel) I always try to pick up different things that I don’t do to improve my Mac gameplay 👍

I play Ness. PK fire is super annoying and even more so when it’s spammed without much thought. PK fire is a good tool but I really try to avoid using it in excess

Peanut should go off stage and counter ness's up B its an instant kill at like 30%
Second to last game he kept dying to neutral get up at ledge. Last game, every single stock he died because he did neutral get up at ledge. I think he was too frustrated to realize he was being predictable
I’m surprised the Ness player didn’t user PK fire and Yo-yo more often, those two moves shut down Little Mac
As an Ex Little Mack main in Smash 4 for the first year it was out. I feel bad for Little Mac players, his recovery is still abhorrent. He’s a punching character, so his fists should still deal decent damage in the air. Especially with their awful range, his mid stage game is good that’s it. he sucks anywhere that isn’t mid stage, his edge guarding is ok. However he can easily have that turned against him as well. Hit him off stage, hit him once with a weak attack. His stock is just gone.

mutiple times throughout the match I said to myself, damn peanut really needs to start utilizing get up attack. If you get to ledge while Ness is being Ness without getting cheesed, you need to take that. I think it could have been a game changer.

Jeez, pk chris has absolutely beautiful movement, he's so disciplined in his use of double jump cancels and aerials! Peanut's little mac is an inspiration as always, I hate to see him get tilted like this. GGs to both players
