- Hey everyone! In this ASMR video I'll be fishing in the area Elwynn Forest in Classic World of Warcraft. The video includes whispering with my Blue Yeti microphone, ambient in-game sounds and some mouse clicking.

You could definitely make a series of “Fishing in WoW Classic” and do different zones as you level the profession up!! :)

elwynn forest is so nostalgic
I would love to see more fishing videos. You could go into zones like Winterspring or Feralas later on to show the beauty of the zones with some relaxing fishing/ambience. Also in zones like Barrens there are some spots where you can get Deviat Fish and cook them.
Nope. It'll turn into a pvp video when she gets ganked by 15 horde.
A few tips:
1.) get baits, at least the +25 / +50 which are quite cheap (these only prevent to let a fish get away, no different drops)
2.) get Strong Fishing Pole (10 Skill required) and Big Iron Fishing Pole (100 Skill required)
- Iron Pole can be farmed in Desolace opening Crab Cages
3.) Get to location were u can fish Raw Nightfin Snapper / Stonescale Eel / Winter Squid
which sell very good:
- Nightfin can only be caught on specific servertimes (morelikly at night/little less on morning/evening - but not after noon)
- Raw Sunscale Salmon same as Nightfin but with turned around catch specifications
- Winter Squid can only caught in Winter
4.) You can fish up little chests which Healpotions / Leather / Cloth and recipes in it (randomly + in specific "fishshools")
5.) get on Wowhead to lookup all Vendor/Quest Recipes

Tip for AFK fishing: if I ever decide to fish and watch something on my other monitor, what I will do is position the camera out along the body of water I'm fishing on - very close to the surface, either under or right over - and zoom into the area where the bobber will land. By doing this, you significantly increase the screen area you can click on to catch a fish. Either keep an eye on the (now much larger) bobber or turn the volume up to hear when the bobber dips.

Savory Deviate Delight is a cooking recipe that you can farm at Barrens outside Wailing Caverns. It requires the Deviate fish you mentioned and turns you into a pirate or ninja.

You could listen to the sound the bobber makes when you got a fish on the hook and place the cursor on top of the bobber. Also helps to zoom in all the way so you can't see your own character anymore. That way you can keep your eyes on the 2nd screen. Worked pretty well for me ^^.

I have lots of memories with Elwyn Forest. Had a blast replaying classic back in 2019. Would have loved to have a fishing partner with asmr skills.
what i do for fishing with double monitors: i put wow sounds pretty high and get the wow camera near the bob, start fishing, put the mouse where the bob is and watch whatever u want on the other screen. You should hear the bob splash sound and click the mouse. Have fun! :)
I like fishing simply becuz it's a chill thing to do in-game.
What i do to combine it with a video is to just be tabbed in-game so i can hear the sounds.
I have my mouse hover over the bobber, and just watch the video until i hear the bobber sound.
after a while you'll start to kinda do it unconsciously. I also put fishing itself on my hotbar and since i have extra buttons on the side of my mouse I can easily hold one hand free whilst watching stuff.
I’ve always found fishing to be very active. (Unlike real life fishing! lol) …its all about moving along coastlines swinging at the nodes while fighting the local enemies, often quite dangerous murlocs. Essentially, it’s massive gold farming and cloth/food production coupled with decent XP potential. It’s not easy to do well.
A Dun Murough ASMR walkabout would be a great idea
Fishing is the best profession in WoW. It's great when you don't feel like doing anything else in-game.
Exploration, questing, fishing.
All of these are good asmr content.
Would be nice to go to winter zone ambience. :)
This is so relaxing omg
because I watch shows when I finish I turn the sound 100% and ambience 100% and I hear the bobber sound and click on it. Also for classic pets needed food so thats why it was such a help to make gold back then =D
if you press alt+z while fishing it gets more soothing, as i see you already hold down shift on right clicking the bobber for auto loot. this will also work while the UI is hidden :) nice video nevertheless keep it up!

Yes.... For fishing with 2 monitors... keep your headset on and youll hear the water sound when you catch a fish... i do it while watching AMSR

so to fish and watch netflix enable your sound in game, disable pet sounds, emote sounds, music, ambient sounds, dialog+error speech, but keep sound in background on. if you dont mind the fishing noises you will be fine

play in window mode, and use the windows 10 split screen feature for wow/internet browser and use Fishing buddy addon (for backround forced sound) i do this all the time lol

Maybe the people that could answer your question about fishing on wow would be Crendor, by going fishing with him.
I'd recommend you listening to a podcast or an audiobook while fishing/farming, u can pay attention to the game visually, but since what you do is so repetitive and easy you can listen to other stuff no problem :P
Or just listen to ASMR 😏

Once you get your fishing above 50-75 it gets a lot easier I can flick over to my other monitor and still get it after like 4 seconds sometimes

good for money making cause people buy it to make food. food has fun effects and gives stat boosts. there are also rare items you can fish up as well
