13:13 is "Tears," one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life, and what I feel is the Chameleons' best song. I have seen the Chameleons many times, but had never heard it live before, and was astonished that they played it. It was worth coming to this festival from Boston just to hear it live!
it's my favorite of theirs too . I saw them at the living room in RI in 87, and this line up just a couple of months ago. thank you so much for posting this!
I was at this too, great set, I had the pleasure of meeting Mark when they played San Diego, nice bloke and his voice is on point. I was hoping for "Don't Fall" 😢
@@lisaleming1222hi Lisa, where can I message you? I'm always looking to connect Chameleons fans and especially people who love Tears. I almost fell over when they played this Saturday. I came from Boston and that alone was worth it for me! I am in Florida January and February and found chameleons fans down there! I would like to start a Facebook Messenger group chat for chameleons fans. So give me your info. Thanks!
I flew across the country & went to the festival in part to see them. Got stuck in traffic and missed their set. Thank you for uploading. Not all lost though / had a great time overall.
Too bad they didn't play my favurite song Second Skin. They are from Middleton which is 5 miles from my old house before I immigrated. I did see them play live in Manchester in 1981 before I left. Great band . Was hoping for Up The Down Escalator too.
I need to catch a full two hour set by them, hopefully later this year they come back to SoCal. This festival was such a highlight of my year last year, I got to see so many bands I've been wanting to see for ages. The Chameleons being one of them.
I was very lucky to see them several times this year as they did a couple of US tours. And I saw them in Europe a few times. Now. I am wondering when will I see them again?
I had not heard this beautiful song by them "As High As You Can Go" either in concert. And I have seen them a lot! Apparently it is about their near-record deal with CBS that they turned down, because CBS wanted them to be something that they weren't. @SusieDavidsonBrookl Ooooh thank God. I almost exclusively went to see Darker waves from Chicago to see Perfume Garden so I was devastated when I missed them. Knowing they didn't play it takes a massive load off my shoulders

It would be great if the Chameleons finally got the recognition they deserve
Thank you for sharing so quickly. We are all Chameleons!

Many years ago I used to work with the keyboard player. Funny bloke, decent guy.

Holy shit... absolutely epic performance!
Hi Robert, send me your messenger info. I'm trying to start a group chat for chameleons fans.
This music was made in Manchester. Indie legends of the City!
Eyes that drew me in to wonderful sin
I love that that line

High as you can go
Lennon to Munroe
Clawed their way to the stars
I think they knew
And I don't care who you are
Just sign the line
And away you fly

They didn't play perfume garden?
It was only a six song set. I think he could have scrapped a couple and done up the down escalator...
