In this video, we bring you a surgical hands-on using Straumann® BLX implants with an extracted molar.
As a first step, create a 6 mm deep osteotomy into the alveolar bone. When you use Straumann BLX implants, you will be able to achieve primary stability in only 6 mm of apical engagement.
Consider 3 mm gingival height+ 2 mm subcrestal placement while completing this procedure. You can then finish off with optimized treatment.
