I just came back from a trip to see friends - once you realize you gotta let go of control and let it happen, you're golden - I was even compelled to shoot and upload here a "full flight" video on one of my legs to my destination - it's over an hour long and documents pretty much they entire flight - also a really pretty sunrise on my way to Dallas that morning!! Thanks for this - I would've loved to document my expressions as much as you did however I was trying not to panic the whole time plus I just sat there the entire time pretending I was asleep, it was pretty early LOL
Amazing, glad to see you overcoming your fear. It's great to see you two together again. Your colab vlogs are the best; you and Steve are a great duo. Absolutely love Barcelona, I've been there 3 times. You are going to have a blast. Wish you had more time in Munich. I had a 10 hr stopover this last year on my way to Hong Kong this past year and got to explore Munich a little bit. Definitely a place I would return to.So excited for what's to come....
I totally get you, I’m scared just as much as you are, but I found a trick to overcome the fear: lift your feet off the ground (grab your knees around your arms, I know it’s weird but just do it). Close your eyes take 4 deep breaths and imagine you’re driving your car and the road is filled with pot holes. It works like magic 🎉😊
This video helped me so much!!!!! I watched this at least 5 times before my trip. I had connecting flights and to tell you the truth I was scared before but I loved all my flights and can't wait to fly again. Thank you 👏🏽
Yay! That's amazing! I'm also here trying to conquer my take off anxiety. I used to love it! Idk what happened. Well I do. But its a long story. It's already helping to see that others have it. I thought I was weird. This video helped me already a lot. Just being able to experience it without being on the plane. I hope I can say the same as you after I do it. I'm so happy for you!
Thanks guys for such an amazing video! I will have my first flight in few days, with one stop. And I wished to feel calm like you. I hope I will be able to overcome my fear of flying🙏
I so felt your anxiety!! I also cried on take off and resented Steve for being able to sleep during it all!! BTW, bro, nice call saying the WAYFARER's PRAYER!! I always say it too!
So true on the size of plane. I feel more comfortable in bigger aircraft compare to smaller ones. Unfortunately, most airlines now uses the smaller equipment to minimize costs and cut emissions.
As of this typing, I am about to go on my first EVER flight tomorrow. Your video has helped me get an idea of what to expect. Very helpful in calming my nerves! I also will have a traveling companion so that does help. Hope you are having an awesome life my friend. ❤
So I’m only like 3:54 minutes into your video but already love the vibe and I just subbed you. I have a MAJOR fear of heights, especially planes. I used to not be scared as a kid but in recent years I started getting major flight anxiety. Even though the flight is only 42 or so minutes from California to Vegas, I get so scared. I don’t think I’ll die or the plane will crash, it’s just being up that high scares me deeply. Maybe I’ll look into getting that medicine in case I decide to fly to Vegas for my birthday (this July). I can vlog my experience like you are. I’d much rather drive, but hopefully I can get over my fear. Anyways love your video already.
I'm so glad I came across this video. I TOTALLY get you and understanding the fear. I'm preparing for my Greece this summer and my anxiety is already high. Thank you for being sooo raw and sharing your story.
Steve seems like one of those people you look back of decades later and think, “I’m glad I met this person”. He has a very captivating smile and personality.
I love flying, I've survived many flights, idk how much miles I have but I have alot. Flying is the safest form of transportation and takeoff is the most likely part to have something go wrong because that's when the engines are at their most power but everything after the first 5 mins after takeoff it's SAFE even landing is safe
Nice, very open and honest. From the outside you looks calm. Steve is a friend everyone needs. Supportive, not judging and staying relaxed. I am glad you solved this anxiety. Personally i have fear of flying in the weeks before flying (especially for flying oversea, and when it's a nightflight over sea... that's double stress) , but it is gone when the plane is starting it's take-off.
This was so fascinating to watch as someone who has learned a lot about what actually goes on inside the flight deck. If we ever end up on a flight together bud, I'd be more than happy to help you alleviate your fears Tal.
I used to have fear of flying, mostly because fear of heights and fear that i may fall at any time, i never had this before but it just happened sometime in my life for a reson, so it was and still is difficult but i kinda managed to overcome it not 100% but now i feel better on a plane, i managed it because i went out there and travelled more , faced my fears and challenged them and just accept that in life you do not control everything and it is okay, just trust and say what is the worst that can happen, death ! Rather die when you are calm and composed at least you can remember your beloved ppl and you can pray and appreciate your last moments in this life. Anyhow even when u panic it wont help you. And one more thing that helps alot is faith, have some faith let God do whatever he wants, he knows better accept it. I hope everyone will be able to ho beyond this feeling because it is horrible to only those who have been thru it.
I haven’t flown in 11 years because of a bad experience, September 1st I’m flying from Scotland to Orlando. I’m commenting pretty much at the start of your video but thanks for sharing it. It’s helping me so far.

I agree about takeoff. I have tremendous anxiety and freak out. But it’s almost exclusively take off and first 15-20 min. Shabot shalom my friend! Greetings from Tampa!
For some reason the drums made me really nervous. If you ever fly a middle eastern airline like Qatar, Emirates etc, they have a prayer before the take off. I’m not religious, but I do find it soothing.
I have fear of flying it started sinse last year when I traveled and the plane kind of went emergency mode and it was moving weird and that day I been scared that the plain might fall.
I’m flying out of Denver tomorrow, currently in the middle of a snowstorm, and I am shaking just watching this video. Trying to figure out how to naturally calm myself. I feel the dips during take off, turbulence, and landing, which lead to me screaming (I don’t like surprise drops, I fly with my hand over my mouth to cover incase a surprise dip hits, and I can try to catch my scream). And I cry from embarrassment and anxiety, which lead to panic attacks after the plane does something uncomfortable. So, I’ll have several panic attacks, anxiety throughout an entire plane ride, stress, tears, and everything. 🥺
Hey clatt¡! Really cool to see you overcome one ur biggest fears and props to yalo for keeping u calm all the way! Hope u guys have an awesome adventure.
I can solve this issue as well. But Xanax from a buddy. Take one one hour before flight then the other 10 minutes before you board. Bam! You just teleported
I can relate. I used to fly so much especially in my young days and few to no issues of fear, Now, lately i have developed a big anxiety and its take-off and sometimes Landing. The smaller the plane the worse. Large widebodies, I am ususally fine. I think the whole 737-max debacle played a big part in my recent anxiety. It shook the confidence I had. I've noticed that sitting as far front as possible helps. Also I avoid airports with known delays as just sitting on the runway waiting for take off builds the f eat (and heart rate) There is less noise and you tend to see the flight attendands doing their work more and it is calming. They are calm, I am calm. Bringing a friend to chat with is an excellent idea. I've learned a lot too and it helps. Taking off just means that the plane is getting to where it was designed to operate - in the air..
Nice thing about the train though, on Amtrak you have a guaranteed connection so the train will not leave without you LOL, now if they can just do a Trans-Atlantic train I'd be great, haha
Gotta play catch up on all the vlogs. I too have flight anxiety a bit. On our way back to Canada from the Philippines we literally had a lightning strike right next to our window 30mins from landing, almost pooped my pants lol. Cheers and safe travels!
My fear of flying is holding me back from traveling the world. I went to America at the start of this year, I flew a total of 35 hrs with stops along the way. My anxiety before my trip was constant I would have panic attacks about the thought of getting on a plane. I did it! But my anxiety was up and down the whole journey. But now that I am back home I am still terrified of flying. I literally fly across the world and I am still scared. My fear comes from claustrophobia and my fear of having a panic attack on the plane. My partner wants to go on a trip that's 40 minutes and that still freaks me out. Anyone else???
My first time flying was when I was 16 after that I haven’t flown since because of my bad anxiety. I’m 31 and I finally was able to fly again. 😅. I flew from Atlanta to Key west which was a small flight. I have a trip to Baja California which is a longer flight super nervous about this one. I do therapy, read and pray it really helps me. Thank you for this video.
Just as you were pulling into your destination your friend should have had the pilot announce over the speaker: "welcome.. to Jurassic Park" for you. 😆
I am going on my first plane trip in Nov. My biggest fear is being nerves and having to feel the need to go potty and have an accident on myself on take off. I don't have the best control of my ability to hold it because of my MS even more so when my nerves are going.
Your a rockstar bro!!! Glad you were able to face those anxieties. I will share this video to all my friends with travel anxiety! Any tips for people who get scared of getting lost while traveling????❤️
I am considering canceling my 18hr flight to New Zealand. I used to love flying and traveling as a kid. It never bothered me. After on bad experience I can no longer sleep or remain totally calm on planes. I'm always on edge and it sucks. I hate it. My fear is based on the turbulence. The shaking is relatively fine but any sudden drops or dives that lead to loss of altitude that can be felt and comes without warning scares the hell out of me. I realize planes like a Dreamliner or Airbus A380 are damn stable planes since they're built for long distance travel. Yet the more time that goes by the greater this fear becomes and the more I fear that I'll completely give up air travel all together. Hell if I could he knocked out the entire flight I'd love that. If anyone has a similar fear can you mention anything that helps you? I live to travel and realize 95% of the actual "in air" time is calm and fine. Yet this fear cripples me and no matter the flight I no longer enjoy the travel. I'm anxious from before boarding and the sigh of relief from touching down again is euphoric.
Great video! Wow, 72 hours to get to Barcelona?! No mas, United airlines por favor. Happy Birthday, Steve!🎂🎉 He’s a wonderful traveling companion for you. He’s chill, laid back and always positive in the midst of adversity. I hope United airlines compensated you guys for the flight delay. And I thought Spirit airlines was no bueno. Wife & I got a cruise booked for April 2021 and I'm already shitting bricks cos we have to fly to the cruise terminal. Its over 8 months out and I'm already stressed & panicked. Sucks even more so because while we'd be on the cruise, I won't be able to enjoy it cos in my head I'll keep saying "In 9 days I have to get on a plane", and the return flight is the one that always scares she shit out of me.
hey guys I just wanted to let you know that it's OK to be scared in terms of having to get on a plane for me I was very scared never in 1 million years would I have thought I would get on a plane but I had to go to the ULTRA festival in Miami and I was very scared but it wasn't so bad. and trust me I'm scared of heights I don't like bridges, country roads i dont even like the ferrie wheel nor elevators n not even a baby roller coaster.
So much good good coming!
Everyone needs a Steve :) You have a great friend. I love the part when he wakes before take-off to be awake with you! Great job!
@@sarahbelle8791 Yes I also learned as much as I could about planes so I knew everything that was going to happen. I hope you conquer your fear 🔥
Oh man when you guys said your take off time was delayed, really felt for you just typical that happens to a person with bad flight anxiety
It made me smile to see that you're fine after the first plane had taken off. Yey!! Congrats!
Thanks Pamela! It was a super happy moment as well
This really helps me
So true on the size of plane. I feel more comfortable in bigger aircraft compare to smaller ones. Unfortunately, most airlines now uses the smaller equipment to minimize costs and cut emissions.
I also prefer bigger planes because the flight is way smoother. Unfortunately, it rarely happens.
I’m so happy for you! I never would’ve thought you’d be anxious to fly after being stuck on a container ship for a week +. Proud of you!
Soooo happy for you!! You did awesome. Thank you for being brave AND for posting this. 🙏🏻
Feel for you buddy...I just have a lot of drinks and sleep all the way to the destination.
Terryy boy terry joy
As of this typing, I am about to go on my first EVER flight tomorrow. Your video has helped me get an idea of what to expect. Very helpful in calming my nerves! I also will have a traveling companion so that does help. Hope you are having an awesome life my friend. ❤
how was it?
Your friend is a blessing. I’m terrified and have a flight from new York to Miami tm. Your video helped me a lot. Much love brother
I love your idea of allowing people to do into a plane and familiarizing themselves with it!
How did it go?
Don't be scared.... stay strong, calm, relax and positive 👊
I'm so glad I came across this video. I TOTALLY get you and understanding the fear. I'm preparing for my Greece this summer and my anxiety is already high. Thank you for being sooo raw and sharing your story.
how did it go`
?
Steve seems like one of those people you look back of decades later and think, “I’m glad I met this person”. He has a very captivating smile and personality.
He's the best man!
I love flying, I've survived many flights, idk how much miles I have but I have alot. Flying is the safest form of transportation and takeoff is the most likely part to have something go wrong because that's when the engines are at their most power but everything after the first 5 mins after takeoff it's SAFE even landing is safe
Thanku🤩 I'm happy you're facing your fear. Enjoy & be safe🥳
Thank you very much!
Ive got tens of thousands of airmiles under my belt. I'd be happy to go with anyone who's a nervous flyer!
Hey message me Patte! Could be cool to shoot a video together!

@@socalgal714 did you ever travel together?
You are so sweet.❤
Nice, very open and honest. From the outside you looks calm. Steve is a friend everyone needs. Supportive, not judging and staying relaxed. I am glad you solved this anxiety.
Personally i have fear of flying in the weeks before flying (especially for flying oversea, and when it's a nightflight over sea... that's double stress) , but it is gone when the plane is starting it's take-off.
Thanks for sharing! Been fighting flight anxiety for a while. Prevents me from taking trips. :- / btw you have an amazing friend! Shalom 🧳
I'm the same exact way. Im in panic mode before boarding, but it eases a little after take off.
This was so fascinating to watch as someone who has learned a lot about what actually goes on inside the flight deck. If we ever end up on a flight together bud, I'd be more than happy to help you alleviate your fears Tal.
Thanks dude!
Hey man, I fly for the first time this coming Saturday and I'm so stressed and nervous, but honestly, watching you do this and giving the play-by-play put me in tears because you seemed so positive and confident that even in your anxiousness you knew you could do it and it really helped me. I feel like I can tackle this flight! I do have some xanax though haha.
How'd the flight go mate?
have a flight havent flown in 19 years since i was 10 i remember feeling fine as a kid im abit nervous as an adult lol pray for me guys love you all!!!
I suffer with several anxiety disorders. I have a severe fear of flying. But with medication and therapy. I think my flight will go well tomorrow.
Five months later, how was your flight?
@@jessicacalloway2942 At first I cried because of the bumps on the way up. I thought the airplane was falling. I took a zanny after that, then felt way better. Watched Nathan for You to relax. I even looked out the window.
@@FairyS-h9m I have Atarax for my anxiety. I've already decided to just take one and a shot of whatevers cheapest at the bar and call it day lol I fly next month.
Just watching you take off and seeing the slight wobble of the plane is setting my heart racing with fear xD
Jenny You got this!
I PROMISE.
You'll get through it
How did it go?
Hey clatt¡! Really cool to see you overcome one ur biggest fears and props to yalo for keeping u calm all the way! Hope u guys have an awesome adventure.
We are so excited to show it to you all!
Distraction is the word which will definitely help you while flying, believe me.
I can solve this issue as well. But Xanax from a buddy. Take one one hour before flight then the other 10 minutes before you board. Bam! You just teleported
I love takeoff and landing. I recently learned to love flight and turbulence as well.
Way to go, my friend 👏.My turn in Sept 2023 is that my first flight is from Louisville Kentucky to Miami
Thanks for sharing! I agree, multiple flights back-to-back help ease the nerves!
Good on you to share with others who may have anxieties. Nice Seek Discomfort/Yes Theory shirt Steve :)
Thanks! Hoping this helps others!
Like i said before brooo ill fly wit you anywhere! Keep on winning man! Excited for this series. Terry in BCN awaits!
Same here! This terry excited as heck!
Same exact fear. Once I'm up I'm good. Landing is even better!
I totally understand!! I suffer of anxiety and panic attacks and I’m planing to fly! It’s so hard to overcome this fear
yo hows it going?
So happy you did it. Steve is a great friend to you.
Gotta play catch up on all the vlogs. I too have flight anxiety a bit. On our way back to Canada from the Philippines we literally had a lightning strike right next to our window 30mins from landing, almost pooped my pants lol. Cheers and safe travels!
thank you for making this
My fear of flying is holding me back from traveling the world.
How did it go?
My first time flying was when I was 16 after that I haven’t flown since because of my bad anxiety. I’m 31 and I finally was able to fly again. 😅. I flew from Atlanta to Key west which was a small flight. I have a trip to Baja California which is a longer flight super nervous about this one. I do therapy, read and pray it really helps me. Thank you for this video.
I get anxiety just watching these videos. My hands start getting clammy and my heart starts beating faster
Just as you were pulling into your destination your friend should have had the pilot announce over the speaker: "welcome.. to Jurassic Park" for you. 😆
So glad you had Steve with you!! That B Day dance hurt!
Hahaha
I literally have the same exact problem thank god I’m not alone on this
how did it go?
I am going on my first plane trip in Nov. My biggest fear is being nerves and having to feel the need to go potty and have an accident on myself on take off. I don't have the best control of my ability to hold it because of my MS even more so when my nerves are going.
Frick and Frack. The dynamic duo. You two make me laugh so much. Much love. Stay safe. Take care of Steve.
Love ya Rachel!
I went on a plane when I was 3 I’m 15 and haven’t been on a plane since and I’m terrified of going flying so it’s been 12 years yup
OMG when you said im good I made it I was screaming and crying of the happiness like im there not you !!!!
What a sweet friend you have man. Best of luck to you!
Hate take offs. Looooove landing
My flight anxiety is the worst, i have not traveled in 20 yrs.
Your a rockstar bro!!! Glad you were able to face those anxieties. I will share this video to all my friends with travel anxiety! Any tips for people who get scared of getting lost while traveling????❤️
Just keep traveling! I guess its the same as being scared at flying you just have to keep facing those fears!
Btw you two are just made for each other. You need your own netflix show. Tal and steve feat. Terry. A lovestory.
TERYY IS HERE
Great video! So glad you got over your anxiety, yay! Have a marvelous time in Barcelona, Tal & Steve! Always remember that God is your pilot, He won’t let you down
♥️♥️♥️
Omg the fist time I see someone having the exact same problem. It’s the take off ! I’m traveling in a couple of days and I’ve been nervous all week !
Crushing your fears one plane ride at a time 💪🙌
Wouldn't it be great to be like Steve who can just sleep through a take off 😂
Happy Birthday to Steve, btw!
Haha it would be incredible!
This was amazing! Thank you so much!❤️
I'm 40 and I've never flown. I have very bad anxiety. Plus, I have panic attacks. I have tachycardia and I take a beta blocker.
I’m a terrified flyer. I have to use Xanax and ambien but it’s what gets me through. This video is great
hey guys I just wanted to let you know that it's OK to be scared in terms of having to get on a plane for me I was very scared never in 1 million years would I have thought I would get on a plane but I had to go to the ULTRA festival in Miami and I was very scared but it wasn't so bad. and trust me I'm scared of heights I don't like bridges, country roads i dont even like the ferrie wheel nor elevators n not even a baby roller coaster. EVEN THE TEACUP RIDE I AM FEARFUL. so for me to say that a plane is OK trust me I went on one last with with lots of turbulence you just get into your head to stay calm and just distract yourself with lots of music and of course a movie but try it out I think now I'm going to start traveling more so it's always good to try it out! The reason I am writing this is because I was in your position of watching videos on how to overcome the fear of flying and yes chewing gum music and movies hotel which is you have to think mentally and I just want to let you guys know how it went for me since some commenters don't respond back after they go to their flight so you're welcome and if anything ask me questions I'll reply have a good day
Much love man,I'm a Florida native as well man I'm moving to new York soon thanks for all the informative information you've given.😀
My pleasure pal!
Oh, I have the same fear of flying and bathroom problems due to anxiety . Imodium on the day of flights helps TREMENDOUSLY!
