I really appreciate the fact that the audience did not interrupted him doing any kind of noise either of approval or disapproval. They waited in silence till he finished his performance. THAT, IN MY OPINION, IS RESPECT!!!
That's because it wasn't an American audience. Here, there would have been half a dozen interruptions for clapping and whistling. In America we seem to treat everything as if it's a sporting event. Sorry but it's true.

Beautiful voice
It's precisely because he is not a trained opera singer, that makes his performance so fresh and enjoyable. It's a new take on an old classic, that reveals new wealth and richness in the music.

I tried to study classical opera singing, that’s not my style… I prefer more crossover music like Andrea Bocelli does
I have no idea what he said as this isn’t my native language, but he said it so beautifully I could listen to him all day long!
When I see a man like this of incredible integrity; and intellect, I can't help but wonder if he is indeed a reincarnated soul. Some people just have old souls. And he is indeed brilliant!

Ever notice how this song brings people to tears? Even though one may not even understand the words, it brings one to tears, such a beautiful composition. Never get tired of hearing it.

you'll never get tired of listening to Corelli, Lanza and Pavarotti. so far, they're the epitome of how nessun dorma is supposed to be sang. remember that the song is an aria sang by a theatrical character. seems you're not aware of Calaf.

Best rendition of Nessun Dorma I've ever heard. What makes his rendition of it so unique is the simple, angelic purity of his voice, free of all strain, bravado and pretense.
