First level. You could've just taken out the two coins before grabbing the pow so you wouldnt rush. Or just run straight to the goal and throw the Pow at the right frame for the 2 second timing
The world record of the first level isn't legit. If you go to the reactions in game you should still see a comment saying "too easy" or something like that with a picture of mario having the star power-up. This means someone hacked a star into the level. I think carlsagan42 made a video about it.

I can cheese the first level too small jump, pow throw, axe touch in one move but the wr is already confirmed to be the fastest time; out of roughly 200 tries I did match it twice. On the last level the key to get closer to 30 seconds is to hit the bomb with the first fireball-in-a-box, the P-door walk gets rid of the bomb in the stonewall and the second bomb too so you only need to do it once to get to the hand. The fire is not random so exact timing is needed to light both bombs at once
Hey Ryu. I think I understand the cheese for the first thomandy level. Podoboos don't kill you when they initially fall, so you grab the pow and run and jump through the podoboos and then use the pow block to kill the top muncher. Done.
Hey Ryu, do you realize that in the first level, after hitting the P-switch, you could have clear the coins first, and THEN grab the POW block and come back there, where the coins were? :P

the first puzzel had no cheese. a glitch was in the game that allowed a player to edit an uploaded level for them would only show for them and then they got the wr by adding in items to help
I thought about getting into puzzles. I've liked the ones I played before, but still wasn't too fond of puzzles as some are too ridiculous for me. The bad thing about puzzles is that if you've seen it in a video it kind of ruins it.
My thoughts for how to beat each puzzle #1 Had no different thoughts then the actual way to beat it #2 Put the shell in the clown car and spin jump off it then proceed to the ending #3 Use the shell to break the blocks and save the P switch instead of having to go fast
On the level with the clown cart, I think you were supposed to take the extra shell and put it in the clown cart. The clown cart would follow you and get stuck in the one way gates. Once it was stuck and you were on the right side, you could spin jump on the shell thats in the cart to get back up and finish the level. (edit) I just realised that you wouldn't be able to get through the last block at the top. If anyone knows how to get rid of the block without the second shell, please comment how.
I have an idea for a Mario Maker challenge. Finish Super Expert mode with 100 lives. You can get as many 1 ups as you want but you have to finish with 100 lives
The game doesn't let you collect more than three 1-UPs per level, and you don't get them until the level ends. So the only way to finish with 100 lives is not to lose a single life.
That's the maximum you could lose: 15 on the first level, then don't lose a single life and get three 1-UPs on every subsequent level. That's presuming there _are_ three 1-UPs in every level (which there aren't). Combined with the fact that you can't carry more than 100 lives, that makes the challenge mostly dependent on what order the levels come.
That's true. But the window gets tighter as the levels continue. A 4-UP deficit takes two levels to pay off, and there are only 6 levels on the course. If you play the first five levels perfectly, then lose 4 lives on level 6, you're screwed after losing only 4 lives. Whereas if that level had come first, you could have lost 6 lives, got back up to 100 by level 3, and gone on to lose and replace another 6. Same levels, different order - one lets you lose only 3 lives; the other lets you lose up to 12.

for the 1st one does the pow kill the fire if you throw it straight up? that's the only cheese potential I can see in that one
