I think the spring clues said which pipe or door to enter.... if you noticed the springs inteh beginning Left Right Center... were under the door in the room with the thwamp... thats my guess from the vid... it took be about until you just had the confused fast forwarding to realize they were changing there. The springs in the first room coresponded to the placement of the springs under the door in the second room. If the the spring was in the middle you were suppose to take the middle door. if the spring was on the right you were suppose to take the pipe on the right, if the spring was on the left you were suppose to take the tube on the uper left corner of the second room. I think following the pattern long enough got you to the finish.
My assumption is that the 9 blocks with 1 spring indicated which room you were in on a grid of 3x3 identical rooms. And that the path to the exit meant going through those 3 rooms in sequence (whether they were connected by door or pipe), which you probably just did through trial and error eventually.
I don't know if it was some sort of grid, but I do think each block/spring formation indicated a room. I noticed a couple of the rooms had a block formation with a spring like in the beginning. I'm guessing you are supposed to go through the rooms in that order. That is, first go to the room with the spring on the left, then go to the room with the spring on the right, and then go to the room with the spring in the center. Maybe you need to do something in these rooms or idk...

I like the Fortress level... got you twice with "chess" traps... It's like checkmate with a king and rook... two enemies easily evaded on their own- and not even very powerful in tandem, still able to encircle and win. =P
The last level, you're moving the spring like a slider puzzle into the right spots, move it to the top left, or to the top right then to the top center to get to the end.

I didn't see it), but I think I know what the Inverted Mansion was trying to do. The spring position in each big block was either centered, on the left, or on the right. That's supposed to indicate which side you go through: center for the center door, left for the left side, and so forth. In addition, the spring's position was either at the top of the block or the bottom: if it's the bottom, you go through the pipe in the floor, and if it's the top, you either go up through the upward pipe or you hit the question blocks in the ceiling. Thus, the initial three clues were telling you to go through the left pipe, then through the right pipe, and finally through the center door. I'm not sure about this, since I don't own the game to test this, but I'm betting that's it. The blocks were meant to indicate which side to go to and whether the clue was high up or down low.

I´ve just ultimately realised, that green Koopas walk off edges, while red Koopas go back and forth! I´m sure, you could create some awesome level ideas out of that game mechanic!
Nobody is really commenting about that last level, but, I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but the springs in the bottom-center of the rooms tell you where you are in the mansion, and each pathway altered which room you were in. For example, if you were in the top left room, you would go to the bottom right room when you entered through the door in the center, because it flips the room you're in horizontally and vertically. Kinda confusing, I know, so I didn't expect you to understand that one.
the springs was a lead to the checkpoint, only the coin led you to the key. And the last move with the pipe was lucky. eh it was kinda random anyway so.. gj, nice video man

Thwomps in clown cars only stomp if they are a few tiles above you. If they are too close to your height you wont get them to stomp they just try to hug you.

Every time you enter the door, the spring position below would change - go down the pipe according to the first clue order - left, right, middle. Would've really fucked you up if it was a Japanese level - read right to left vertically. middle, right, left.
Yes hello ryukahr, I enjoy the game plays. I would like to play but I have a PS4. I can see that levels can be made with all Mario platforms. Can a level be made with different Mario platforms after going in a door or pipe. To understand, level starts off with Mario 1 platform then go into a pipe or door, leads to a Mario 3 platform to finish the level.
