Finally, someone playing straight classical music on one of these, instead of fusion, flamenco, plectrum style etc. A really good demo.
I tried one in a shop a while back and tried to demonstrate the reverb to a fellow customer. We both agreed it had good depth, echo qualities and a nice tone etc, only for me to discover, a few minutes later, that there was no battery in the compartment! The power of ‘suggestion’ knows no bounds.
yeah its a great guitar - apart from the minor battery issue. Shame they stopped making them. Thanks for watching
Man that sounds awesome!
Yeah it’s a real beauty
If Yamaha made a GC - TA I'll bet it would sound much better .
You may want to use Tenavolts rechargeable batteries. They are expensive, but well worth the premium price. I've been using them for my Yamaha silent guitar.
thanks for that I will give it a try for sure. best wishes Paul
Great review and playing. Could you please tell me the name of the carcassi piece you played at the end with the hammer-ons
sure - its Carcassi Opus 60 No 10. Its a really lovely piece to play. kind regards Paul
👍👏
cheers. its a fascinating guitar !
hi! im considering this guitar. do you think that the guitar whithout any fx, is worthy?
Its a great guitar but to my mind its the whole trans acoustic part that makes it so special. If you are not going to use the trans acoustic effects I would personally probably get an Alhambra 5 P instead. Either way I dont think you would be disappointed with this guitar. Bets wishes, Paul
It sounded better when you played without the effect
yeah I think it does have a lovely sound without the effects too. Some people think its a bit 'artificial' sounding with the effects.
