There were a lot of times where there swords weren’t actually even clashing and they were getting deflect sounds and animations. Threw me off. The only downside I noticed in this gameplay. Looks amazing otherwise.

Does anyone know, will you be able to change the button layout? It makes no sense to me using triangle and square for attacks. Should always be R1 and R2. That way you can keep you thumb on the stick.
Since the dawn of console games and modern fighting games always had X,B,Y or triangle, square, circle fighting mechanics for combos unless you only play shooting games
Its not exactly like black myth wukong , this one has different style and more like hack & slash since there are combos , its fast and definitely not a souls game like everyone said
It looks like Nioh and Wo-Long And that’s a good thing I’m sure that it has some other tributes that will set separated from those other games, but the major difference being the enemies response is like on zero they need to dial that up a bit the enemies take too long to do something outside of that it looks fantastic But we shouldn’t be standing there waiting for the enemy to respond or acknowledge us I mean hell you shoot him with a canon and they just stand there waiting for you to get closer and do something else they need to make them more responsive but it definitely looks like a game that’s worth playing

Some of the connections between the blades are not as clean and precise whereas every single one in the original trailer connected clearly. It's still pretty accurate and looks way good. I figured the original wasn't going to be possible in the final product anyway. At least not yet. It was just way too precise.
