I'd love to see a video covering Bait/Attraction setups for like Bears, Hogs, Goats, Predators, and Waterfowl! Then maybe a video covering some of the non attractable species like Bison or Bighorn and the best methods to hunt them.
The secret to bison is finding them and then getting close enough for them to charge! They have a weird animation that flinter has shown before, that allows an easier brain shot up close.
@@breannathompson9094the easiest way hunting them is litterly just running around with a bow waiting for them to charge and shoot them in the head, it's really easy and a good way to get some ems. You'll also have a big change of getting some other animals (because witherime ridge is so open and due to using a bow u won't spook them)
Been playing classic for about 10 years now and I actually learned something in this video! Thanks for the helpful video Flint and excellent content as always!
Another advanced tactic: Each time you hear an animal calling, immediately identify it and then quickly RMB to bring up the map and place a red dot where that call came from. You can keep going in and out of the map, quickly, to check if the dot is in the middle of the ripples that the call made. That way, you always have a pin point location of where that animal call came from, even when the ripples disappear. This method is also great to measure distance to the animal call, as anything above 220 meters will not be affected by your caller. That way, you know if you have to move a bit closer towards the animal call or not. Also - if you placed that red dot, you can always go to that spot (if no animal answers your caller) in order to find the animal tracks and then work from there. :) And yet another tactical advice - not sure if it has been covered: Reload your bow/rifle/weapons when loading into the game. There is nothing more irritating than finding that sweet buck or whatever and then - drawing your weapon just to realize that you have to reload the entire magazine/quiver first.
It's very much possible to learn how to consistently hit shots up to 60m with the Snakebite. The tubular spirit level at the bottom of the sight is conveniently where a 60m pin would be. Moreso, the "20m pin" the Snakebite has pretty much works for 30m too, because the arrow doesn't have time to hit low at that distance. 40m/50m are easy to figure out.
Great information Flinter, What are the different guns and scopes in Classic and why/how are they different than cotw. Thank you for posting. Also since the trophy lodges are on the maps. If you don't buy them are they just not there or can you not enter the buildings?
Have they change the bows? The snakebite have been the strongest and loudest and the python the weekest and quietest, the pulsar is in the middle of those, it used to be that way anyway.
What about crossbows? Aren't those somewhat easier to use? I'm kinda tempted by the Reverse Draw Crossbow. I'm kinda new to the game and kinda bad at making gms. Another channel recomended getting a powerful rifle to unlock the final animals I can't kill with the default free weapons, and I also could use some help in killing heavy animals (the shotgun slug-kind) from a further distance with one. But I'm concerned about not being able to kill _all_ species I might encounter with my current carrying capacity. The crossbow seems cheap enough, easy, hunts everything, has additional sights I could buy and the stealth is a nice perk to boot.
Sorry for writing personal email and discord. I was hasty. But I really want to help Korean to play thehunter Classic and your video would be really great starting reference. Many Korean can't understand English. Please consider my sincerity. Thank you.
Hey, I’m still a little bit new to this game, I’ve got about 30 hours and I want to know what you recommend I should buy first, the gun you mentioned in the last guide video, or the snakebite bow?
Thanks bro i just started like literary 1 day ago and you help me not only start but what to strive for in weapon purchase The Snake bow hope to hunt together one day ! zeeroogee out
It is. I definitely don’t deny that. I haven’t spent money (other than buying that new lodge last summer) in a few years, but I already owned so much from the prior years. Personally I always say like spending $20 to get a few things is perfectly reasonable. Most games with this much content cost way more than that
I don't hate Classic. I think as far as a more complete hunting game it kicks cotw butt...At the same time. I barely get time to play cotw. The amount of time I feel I would need to spend playing Classic to get good would take more time than I have....I like cotw because of it's arcadelike style. I think Classic got almost everything right which is why I love this series Flinter has chosen to do. I still have so many questions about this game, where as cotw is pretty self explanatory. sorry for the long reply but for those who are bored by Classic I don't think they really like hunting.
A mix of the two would be the perfect game. Classic is just so slow it becomes impossible for people that can't play too much. At the same time, COTW is TOO fast. So, it's kind of sad.
@@winnerscreed6767 no worries loved your response ya I totally agree for the average joe who just wants to shoot stuff cotw is a good game but classic is ya exactly more skilled than cotw and that’s the thing you know those like 12-14 year old squeakers who hate classic because cotw is the only game they have and they become attached to its simple to learn gameplay

6 years of playtime for me and I have to say this one goes a lot deeper than the earlier hoocairs video tutorials.

The second (tactical advice) was mentions in his beginner guide as well for those who haven’t watched it, I would!
This game requires extreme patience... and I love it lol
I am once again asking for a series like this for Way of the Hunter 😶
Just sat down to play. Let’s see what kind of tricks you can teach me!
Snakebite is one of my favourites for ammo efficiency outside comps - Cupid arrows!
Finnaly another video with The Hunter Classic, tyvmmm❤❤❤
Finally got the wife into classic, glad i can show her this to help me teach her lol
You are one lucky man

Parker python has a rangefinder built into the sights. Id do some research on that and explore your options. You might even want to look at crossbows

I just spent my first in some luxury items and guns whit some reasonable missions, next buy would be three stands and prolly a trophy farm
