As the title says they are cosplaying characters from the anime and manga Jibaku Shounen Hanako Kun, or Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun as it’s also referred to as. The plot is that we follow the life of Nene Yashiro (who Sparky is cosplaying here) when she finds out about the Seven School Mysteries of her school via her friend Akane Aoi. The seventh is known as Hanako-san of the bathroom (who Tristan is cosplaying) who can grant wishes of the living. So she follows the sequence of how to summon ‘her’ and finds out Hanako-san is actually a boy (soon when they befriend each other she starts calling him Hanako-kun) after the shock she asks him to grant her wish for the so called ‘prince’ of their school and School council president Teru Minamoto. After the fail over and over to even get our heroine, Yashiro closer to Teru. Hanako helps Yashiro realize she didn’t actually like him she liked the idea of liking someone. Soon after they find a mermaid scale which Nene eats even after being told not to by Hanako-kun and turns into a fish servant bound to serve a mermaid who soon appears to take Nene. Hanako defeats the mermaid and Yashiro asks him to grant her another wish is to be human again. He does but the catch is when she goes into water she gets scales on her skin or turns into a fish. Hanako then says that to repay him for granting two wishes was to be his servant and she begins to get into the routine of spending the end of her school days until she has to go home cleaning the bathroom he inhabits. We are then introduced to Kou later on who happens to be the 2nd son of an exorcist clan. The Minamoto clan. He hears about Hanako-kun and tries to exorcist him. Hanako-kun ‘fends him off when Yashiro whom Kou once thought the school mystery was trying to hurt was actually now bound to (basically to turn Yashiro back someone would have to eat a mermaid scale to with the cost they’d be bound together) soon Kou gives up and joins sides with the two protagonists. (Hanako-kun and Kou just have a rivalry) Soon after, to Yashiro and Kou’s surprise everyone in her classes stuff starts disappearing she goes to Hanako-kun and he tells her about how recently school mysteries rumors had been changing causing them to start causing people problems. The first one, who was stealing peoples things was the Mokke. Hanako-kun and the other two searched for the supernatural and defeated it before changing it’s rumors so it’d behave again. (Basically if a supernatural or ghost has rumors and if they do not act like the rumors they will disappear) so from then on. Kou, Yashiro and Hanako-kun go on adventures throughout the school into the far-shore for Yashiro and Kou to stop and put an end to the bad rumors causing havoc in their school. It’s a really good show, I recommend it ^^. Sorry if I didn’t summarize it enough. I have a hard time when it comes to not over doing detail if that makes sense.
