Not too much (board) repair being taught nowadays, laziness & convenience have let us replace instead. Now most look at soldering as a magical skill that they can't obtain, when it truly is just a matter of practice.
in the 70's we were making boxes that lit up and danced, those were the days, today its kits.
China kit is so much cheaper, and cleaner...

I made this also but C1 to C26 were replaced by resistors of the same size... resistors are cheaper than capacitors...😢
