Coming back to this after watching it when it came out. Crazy to think I was 12(!?!?) when this came out and now I’m almost 19. Every time I watch an animatic/animation, always think back to the first one I ever saw. And thank God it’s this one, because WOW it’s even better than I remembered 6 years ago!

even after all these years, this is definitely one of my favorite things to come out of steven universe's fandom. the way the characters movements match the music, the perfect song choice for lars and sadie, the expressive bouncy animation... 100% one of the best su animations on youtube :)

I feel that improper grammar makes it less personal, like they don't care enough to properly enunciate themselves.
But the situation in the song has clearly left her drained and depressed, there's no reason for her to care about enunciation because the whole story is about how no one is actually listening to her. The broken grammar adds an extra dimension of defeat to her loneliness.
I do freelance work for various other channels (which recently started being released and I have a playlist for it on this channel), this channel is for stuff I do on my own, usually just for fun.
