This video was awesome man. It had a lot of features I would say are lacking from other videos (like the visuals during the combo explanations) and you also included even the worse possible situations. I've been playing this deck up till gold but haven't perfected the lethal combo yet, so thank you for the great explanation and video. I also liked the zoo variant of the deck, I'll have to save up for that Drident lol

4:42 I didn’t explain as detailed as I would of liked but if this is the only beast in your hand you can chose to end on just an apolosa here or go ahead and do the line seen at 10:32 instead if you don’t have good handtraps in your hand.
Great video, appreciate the curiosity of showing cards while talking💯 n going fast but not too fast where it’s gibberish lol, would love for you to keep making deck profile/breakdowns Sub btw💯
Great vid!! Im building this deck, but i have a question, does simorgh work in this deck?? Cuz i dotn have apollousa nor simorgh, which one should i craft? Thanks!!
it really depends if you want to run Zoodiacs or Lyraluscs along with your tri brigade monsters, if you want to run lyraluscs id craft simorgh if you want to play zoodiacs id craft Apollosa , while Simorgh can also be used in this version i find it tends to be a little bricky and the extra deck is already tight on space, but if you are playing the zoodiac version like i am in the video Apollosa is 100% mandatory while Simorgh is optional
I recently saw your video and in the part of the bad hand you showed how to try to save yourself only having Kitt, so with two monsters in the graveyard you could start the combo, but what happens if you only have Nervall, since only he will be in the graveyard.
So for that you would need another way to extend, so If you had a zoo or DD crow in hand you could nerval-almaraj into kerass to keep playing but if it’s just nervall and 4 hand traps, then that’s a completely dead hand, I’d just set nervall and hope they can’t kill, luckily with how the deck is built that situation should be really unlikely to happen often
So the reason i do this even though i can just use the two link monsters to summon Apollosa is because Apollosa gains 800 attack, which translates into one more negate, for every monster used as material, so with only the two link 2's used shed only have 1600 attack which makes it easier for the opponent to normal or special summon and try to attack over her forcing out a early revolt and leaving you with one less negate even without it, So because of that one more Apollosa negate is much more valuable than leaving a mediocre tri brigade monster who is just going to die and not do anything on board during my opponents turn instead, especially since revolt will be drawing you a tri brigade name as follow up for next turn that they cant Ash to stop with the chain blocking method i mentioned so you will only not be getting the draw through Belle who no one is running.
I'm interested in joining tournaments please show how you would build this deck without the cards that are banned great video I am making an exact duplicate of this deck

Just crafted this deck. Ive used to play yu gi oh like 15 years ago and now because of nostalgia downloaded master duels. Im loving it. Could you explain the situations in whicg you would use the double dragon lord?
Hope you’re enjoying the game! Double dragon lords is really good versus decks that care a lot about their normal summon, since everyone only gets one normal summon per turn, so for example in the mirror match versus tri brigade double dragon lords is insanely strong, but against decks like eldlich and drytron they’re useless. It’s also very helpful if you played tenki that turn because you just get to activate it for free by destroying the tenki before completing the combo if you’re going second

Hey for the "bad opening hand" section, have there been any changes to how this combo works? When I bring out Almiraj and then special summon Kerass, I can't activate his effect unless I tribute Almiraj and get him off the board. Then it lets me activate Kerass.
I’m 90% sure you’re summoning kerass in the center of the board, which if you’re placing almaraj in the left slot means you’re now blocking the arrow almaraj is pointing at, link monsters must be summoned in either the extra zones or in a zone an arrow is pointing to, it’s a pretty common mistake, I hope that helps! And let me know if that wasn’t the issue
@@pricingace-rojas9571 That's exactly what the issue was. Thanks man. I've returned to YGO after not playing for a long time and am still new to the link stuff lol
thats 100% my bad, i ended up accidentally cutting it from the final take but you can make apolosa with this combo for one card if you just summon rugal instead of ferjitt, which is what i wnated to show off my b
The first combo you did wasn't a 1 card, you summoned the nervall instead of the kerass you added, making it two cards It's labeled as two cards in the chapter but you explain it as though it's a one card
Yeah that was a total blunder on my end, since this was my first attempt at an actual video, I ended up re recording every section I filmed several times which is why the jump cuts in the video seem so radically different, I meant to explain that you can go into a one card apollosa with just one card but ended up completely blowing over the fact in the video which I didn’t notice until after the video had uploaded, whoops
@@pricingace-rojas9571 what about the second combo, I'm a bit confused when you say "if you start with nervall get kerass" , but you started Kitt and also grabbed kerass.
@@marciamakesmusic would you mind if I get a time stamp to the part you’re referring to, I assume you’re referring to one of the parts where I say something about two different names and then start to refer to the ones specifically in hand, there’s also two parts I know I grab the wrong card because I was talking lmao so it’s probably my b, but with a time stamp I’d be happy to elaborate
@@marciamakesmusic ahah my B, yeah I was referring to the order of operations at 3:47 but yeah I meant “if it’s a kitt you send nerval, if it’s nerval you grab kerass” you need to be sure to grab the kerass in this situation because since it can summon itself off any ‘beast’ you can just discard it for kerass effect and do this combo
Thing about lightning storm is that you can’t have any face up cards..so if you have a tenki already set up you can’t use it lol. Which is why I run a raigeki and niburu
i actually absolutely agree, its still fine to run lightning storm because most games end in the first 2 turns but im only running the card because i dont want to craft 2 solemn strike lol, but i definitely would not run lightning storm atleast not at one copy
Hey man, i guess my question is a bit different, I am losing a lot of games to tribrigade, so I was wondering what would be the weakest link during your combo? I feel like every time I face against a tribrigade match, I just get overwhelmed with the number of effects in the grave and stuff, and end up negating the wrong thing and they still brings out omen and i die lol
If you can tell me what deck you’re playing or what handtraps you use I can help more, but the easiest way to shut down tri brigade is shutting down their normal summons, when they summon kitt/nerval/kerass/fraktal then wait until they use the effect so they have to banish cards then you hit them with a effect veiler or infinite impermanence or any monster negate, otherwise you wait until you summon one of the monsters I mentioned and destroy/flip them face down before they use the effect, unless they have kerass and another beast in hand (2 cards) you’ll end their whole turn This doesn’t apply to the lyralisc version though just to the one I showed in the video, which is the stronger version. That was a bit lengthy but if you have any more questions or need clarification ask away
So I actually don’t cover this combo in the video partially because the video was already way too long for it’s own good but yeah with fraktal and any other beast name you can make apolosa plus double dragon lords if you take the Bearbrum line in the video, but I also cut it because that route requires you to go super minus leaving you with only one card in hand max and considering the cards this deck runs, odds are if you only have 2 beasts in hand, those other cards are probably hand traps or back row, and I’d much rather end on apolosa revolt plus 3 handtraps in hand than apolosa revolt double dragon lords and one handtrap in hand since I do consider double dragon lord relatively low impact against a lot of the meta
you dont hvae to but zues uses up 2 materials per activation and his effect isnt once per turn or even once per chain so setting him up with 2 activations is super strong, the only reason to not use them all up would be to play around nibiru
that is just a complete and total brick hand lol, but luckily since those cards are likely a couple of disruptions you set droplets or solemn and keep those hand traps ready, not playing kerass, and hope those interruptions are enough to let you live another turn and that the next card you draw is enough to let you combo, with this deck those bad hands really shouldnt be coming up too often though
@@pricingace-rojas9571 thanks for the reply! You're right it doesn't happen often but I've had it come up. Just wanted to see if you had any extra deck tech
For the first combo whenever I try to use the card that gets special summoned by Ferrgit, sometimes it doesnt let me. I'm sure its a noob mistake but can someone tell me why? I end up not being able to summon Apollo for the full 2400.
Do you mean you’re unable to use the effect to banish and summon a link monster from the monster ferjitt brings out? If so is there any chance you’re summoning the same tri brigade card that already used it’s effect once that turn, or are you sure you have atleast 2 ‘beasts’ in the graveyard
@@pricingace-rojas9571 Unable to banish with the monster that I special summon with Ferjitt. I checked to see if maybe I'm using the same monster, but that's not the case. I made certain I used Nervall as for the original banish for 2 and then used Ferjitt to special summon Kerass. Still didnt work. Couldn't activate Kerass banish effect. This was an opener so I'm sure I jad enough beast in graveyard. Maybe it has to do with link positioning?
@@bloodfloe_fgc399 you’re right that is probably the most likely answer! I mention in the video when learning it’s best to just always summon your monsters opposite side of the side you summon your link monster, link monsters must be summoned to where an arrow points if the extra zone is full, it’s a mistake that I used to make all too often too lol, oh and if you go for the bad hand combo remeber until you use Almaraj effect you won’t be able to activate revolt
@@pricingace-rojas9571 Lol got it. Thanks for the reply. I stop playing yugi before Link monsters were a thing. I actually assumed It was better to put the normal summoned beast in the direction the arrows are pointed 😂😂😂
That's the thing I've noticed. If this deck gets put behind in anyway, it's a struggle to catch up compared to decks that are blatantly an exploitation of the game, such as Eldritch Drytron and virtual world.
So that really is the thing about Tri-brigade, I have to accept the L and really think about when to use Revolt after that because that one banish is going to be my only interaction, and i mention it earlier in the video in how this deck isnt crazy because it can play through anything but because of how consistent it is. So odds are if they lightning storm you and you have no handtraps you just lose, but thankfully because of Ferjit and Bearbrum both drawing and shuffling cards back in odds are your hand will have atleast a couple of handtraps when it does happen same applies for the opposite if revolt gets hit, its a lot like Sky-Striker decks in that that they seemingly do nothing but then you face them and youre like "damn thats real annoying" lmao but seriosuly dont let that fool you i do regularly beat Eldlich, Drytron, Bird up, and striker in this format, consistency goes a long way in this deck
Dude you already have 6 decks, how much gems have you used? Spent 10k already and I'm still missing some of the archetype cards and if I craft them I won't even have any cp left to craft some staples. I don't even have a working deck yet.
I bought all the sale bundles in the store, also be sure to do the story mode for the gems, with the story mode you should easily have enough for 3 average price decks, especially since staples are often shared between decks, I made a second account to play the decks people have asked me for on TH-cam and I haven’t spent a cent and have 2 full decks, just be sure you’re buying the right secret packs and crafting once it’s not worth it to open the pack anymore
@@pricingace-rojas9571 But what was your pulls for these decks? I bought all the bundles and after that bought the Tri pack. 5k in and still just 1 Shuraig. Switched to the Zoo pack and spent another 4k but didn't got Drident. Other than these the only other thing I spent on is a 10pack pull of Stalwart, hoping to get the 2nd Shuraig there, or at least stuff like Pot of Desire.
@@nunyabiznes33 oh no no no, you shouldn’t spend your gems so heavily on a pack you only need one legendary from, it’s better to just craft those, I bought MAX 3k gems of the tri brigade back, to pull the SR’s then switched to pulling from the sky striker pack, when it’s only one copy of a legendary left it’s best to dust your bad legendaries and just craft it, you really only want to pull from a pack if you need 2 unique UR’s from it or don’t have any of the SR’s yet, take advantage of the crafting system, because if you keep pulling for the one drident or the one shuraig you’re gunna be wasting like 6k gems until you get one copy
@@pricingace-rojas9571 yeah. Kinda already disappointed really since I was told it's supposed to be easier to build a deck here compared to DL. 10k and not a single deck yet. People on Discord channels only keep saying "pull", like "Bruh, I already spent all my gems pulling!". "No, just pull for the 2nd Shuraig. Only craft URs from the Master Pack" they'd say. Why pull from the Sky Striker deck? And just 3k on Tri? Did you got at least one Shuraig from that and just crafted the 2nd?
@@nunyabiznes33 ah sorry to hear it, no disrespect but that just sounds like bad advice, if you think about the odds youre likely to pull 1 UR per 10 packs (or even less if youre me lol) and considering the average pack has 5 possible UR's thats a 20% chance your legendary will be shuraig and around a 4 percent youll pull 2 in a row, obviously a bit higher cuz 2 packs. I mean im no mathmatician but sounds like bad odds to me, this game has a crafting system for a reason dont be afraid to use it. Also i only pulled from the striker pack after because it was the second deck i was interested in buildings, i assumed myself unlucky cut my losses and got more cards i needed instead of trying to open the one i didnt have. Actually long reply sorry but theres a similar rule in the real game now that i think about it where if a new powerful 80 dollar card comes out and you need it you either pay full price for it, accept you wont have it until its reprinted, but you definetly dont buy a 60 dollar box hoping to get it because youll just be down 60 dollars and sad
This isn’t really regarding the deck list but rather a few pots that I don’t know why they are top tier in the game. The first two are Pot of Extravagance and Pot of Prosperity as Extravagance banishes face down 3 or 6 random cards from your extra deck just for a +2 and Prosperity allows you to banish face down 3 or 6 from your cards with other downsides to add a card from a 3 or 6 pile. Don’t these two pots just destroy your extra deck instead of helping you. Also Pot of Desires is another card I don’t get as you banish face down 10 card of your deck just for a +2 again. I get that it won’t make you deck out but won’t it most likely destroy your deck instead of helping you? Where as Pot of Avarice a card I use in burning abyss never sees play in decks like burning abyss and phantom knights even though they have cards that activate when sent to the grave but don’t give you benefits if they just sit there
So to explain the basics, card advantage is very important in a game like yugioh, the more cards you have the more likely to just win. Extravagence is a very good card in decks that don’t go into their extra deck very often or don’t reply too heavily on it, pot of prosperity is very good for decks that only need part of their extra deck since it lets you pick what to remove, or just really need a couple specific cards in their deck to do a very strong combo, the extra deck is irelevant if you can prosperity into your power card for your strategy a deck like tri brigade could never run either of these because of how important their extra deck is to their strategy Lastly desires is again so good vecause of how important card advantage is and the only downside to running it is if your deck runs unsearchable cards that would kill your combo if you accidentally banish it, otherwise you can basically just pretend those 10 cards you banished were just at the bottom of your deck and you didn’t draw them that game. Again it’s just so unlikely you banish all 3 copies of an important card that it really is just a risk you’re willing to run to get extra cards Hope that helps and wasn’t confusing
So i actually run Desires at 2 in my real deck and tenki is also limited to one in tcg, and they just banned my imperial order and it hurt the deck hard, but i do believe its still very good just not high tier 1 anymore. what i replaced them for is one foolish burial which is just as good as tenki, you can also run one Zooodiac Ratpier in tcg which is banned on masterduel, then i include a 3rd solemn strike, a called by the grave to play through handtraps, a third revolt, and ghost belle over max c since Belle is actually much stronger in tcg than masterduel
@@darealist2409 I actually absolutely agree! before the tenki limit and barrage ban i used to run one ram, one whiptail and one ratpier, after I now run one thouroughblade, 2 ram, and one ratpier, rat is important because you can use her going first to do the tri brigade combo, sending somehting to graveyard with her effect, using chakanine to summon whatever you threw away and then linking them off into Ferjitt and setting up 3 beasts in the graveyard
@@pricingace-rojas9571 nice. Question? Is rugal necessary? Only reason I see it for is to link climb. And I was think maining talents since the deck is a hand trap magnet.
Just picked the deck up. Looking to tweak it n get some tips. What do u think about appo. So many board breakers now. One imper, chalice, droplet and u only have revolt left.
Yes that’s a CAN be really strong play as well! The reason I didn’t cover it because video length but also because that combo requires you to not only give up a lot of cards in hand going super minus, but also I don’t think it’s usually worth it to give up 2 cards in hand with bearbrums effect (which are probably handtraps or trap cards with how this deck is made) for one mediocre bounce effect with double dragon lords, but against the right match up it can be very strong

Is there anything you can do if you only open with Keras and 4 hand traps / removal cards?
that is just a complete and total brick hand lol, but luckily since those cards are likely a couple of disruptions you set droplets or solemn and keep those hand traps ready, not playing kerass, and hope those interruptions are enough to let you live another turn and that the next card you draw is enough to let you combo, with this deck those bad hands really shouldnt be coming up too often though
I mention in the video when learning it’s best to just always summon your monsters opposite side of the side you summon your link monster, link monsters must be summoned to where an arrow points if the extra zone is full, it’s a mistake that I used to make all too often too lol,
oh and if you go for the bad hand combo remeber until you use Almaraj effect you won’t be able to activate revolt
@@pricingace-rojas9571 Lol got it. Thanks for the reply. I stop playing yugi before Link monsters were a thing. I actually assumed It was better to put the normal summoned beast in the direction the arrows are pointed 😂😂😂
So... what did you do after he just lightning stormed your Apollousa in the opener... and what if your revolt just gets negated
Extravagence is a very good card in decks that don’t go into their extra deck very often or don’t reply too heavily on it, pot of prosperity is very good for decks that only need part of their extra deck since it lets you pick what to remove, or just really need a couple specific cards in their deck to do a very strong combo, the extra deck is irelevant if you can prosperity into your power card for your strategy
a deck like tri brigade could never run either of these because of how important their extra deck is to their strategy
Lastly desires is again so good vecause of how important card advantage is and the only downside to running it is if your deck runs unsearchable cards that would kill your combo if you accidentally banish it, otherwise you can basically just pretend those 10 cards you banished were just at the bottom of your deck and you didn’t draw them that game. Again it’s just so unlikely you banish all 3 copies of an important card that it really is just a risk you’re willing to run to get extra cards
Hope that helps and wasn’t confusing
Also, the pots you mentioned are all +1. The card you activated is simply replaced with another one + 1.
How would u build this deck in real life. No Maxx c no drytron no order n 1 pot of desires? Just curious.
@@pricingace-rojas9571 I'd run ram ram so imperm is dead.
With just a zoo can still bring out a Srouge.
Ill have better First turn
Ancient warrior+ apoulosa 2400atk + trap
Yes that’s a CAN be really strong play as well! The reason I didn’t cover it because video length but also because that combo requires you to not only give up a lot of cards in hand going super minus, but also I don’t think it’s usually worth it to give up 2 cards in hand with bearbrums effect (which are probably handtraps or trap cards with how this deck is made) for one mediocre bounce effect with double dragon lords, but against the right match up it can be very strong
You look like Mat Pat
I consider myself more of a Steve Buscemi
