I’m from the US and was fortunate enough to go to Liverpool in 1985 on a tour of Beatles places. Abbey Road, Penny Lane, etc. People in Liverpool were so friendly.
I was there later in the evening when it got dark, many of these lads were still at it when I got there. God willing, I will attend this event every year for the rest of my life.
John wrote this song in his apartment overlooking Central Park. And 43 years after he left us, we hear his work be played out loud where he could see it.
I have been a Beatles fan since I was young. I will be 65 this week. What a great tribute to John and George. Love Now and Then. God Bless John and George. RIP. John was my favorite Beatle.

Lovely tribute. ❤️ I saw the Beatles twice. In 1964 at Atlantic City Convention Center and in NYC at a theater (can’t remember which it was) in the Fall of 1965. I could barely hear them over the screaming girlies. lol. This song has really touched me. I never got over the break up.
Everyday after I come home from work and switch on the PC, this is the first place I go, to youtube and your wonderful sing along videos, they lift the heart, by seeing all people from differebt walks of life come together and enjoy such wonderful music. Please dont stop, I hope to visit next year, and will make the park visit top priority.

My daughter lived in New York between 2010 and 2014, not too far from Central Park. I don't know if these shows were around then, but I would have loved to have been at them.

I grew up with the 'Beatles' in Liverpool & the cavern. Now at 72 I cried when I saw this clip to know our John is still loved & respected!
