I just bought some Husqvarna string to load my 224L with a T35 head like the one in the video. I have learned its better price wise to buy locally and not online. Of course, I understand different areas are different, but if you can at least get to a Lowes and at least ok with getting a pound, there price will beat internet prices. I am from lancaster county, PA and I went to a locally owned store that was a Husqvarna dealer. I have found that there 1 Ib. 0.095 roll was 14.95 vs. Lowes 15.95, but when I saw it was XP force instead Titanium Force that made the deal a whole lot better.
+Supreme Services Lawn Care Thanks! Yep its the new shop, we built it this year and are still finishing it up. It used to be a big horse barn, tore it down and built this. Its 30x40, I have a few videos on it a while back. Thanks for watching, I should have a saw video up soon.
Great vid , just what I needed well explained
I have a 124l with the same head, takes less than 2 minutes to do the whole restring and I do the top and bottom at the same time.
Is it best to bump at fast speed
Yes it is just do it in grass areas & not on hard surfaces like gravel or pavement areas because overtime the bump head can get damaged.

+crazyjdkid great !!
Whats the point of wrapping it around your elbow if your just going to unravel all of it?
+Austin B It helps keep it somewhat straight and gives me a rough estimate in feet in how much I have unraveled!
You the man
How do you bump the head and eject more string once the string is cut too short?
+Sam Miller Tap it on the ground lightly. If it doesn't come out you probably wound it backwards!
I have a question can a t35 head fit on the 128ld
Not sure. But as long as you get an adapter I don't see why not. You will loose some power though over the T25
Thank u
You got one loop wound backwards..
+car13744 Dang-it, I wasn't paying attention apparently. They both need to be spooled in the same direction. Thanks for catching that.
+crazyjdkid I've done the same thing many a time... lol
