- Hey, here's another Deltarune Remix! This time, Field of Hopes and Dreams. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting the first one to be received so well so I can't thank you all enough for that. I will do my best to keep it up!

Here's another remix I've spent sitting hours at a time making, because college isn't standing in the way of my life! For now... xD
So this one's pretty different. I went for a Disco-like type of genre. I'm not sure why but it was fun and it helped me explore something new. I was listening to Hideki Naganuma's stuff and I wanted to create something similar to the really funky basslines he makes, and it ended up turning into something a lot more than that. At the time, I realized I had no direction for a field of hopes and dreams remix soooo voila! This was born. I've had so much fun with this, and I usually do when I try new things. Hope you guys enjoy this because I definitely put my all into this one!

There are several different versions that specify what can and cannot be shared, used, or monetized. Just about everything you create and post online is assigned one of these by the website you publish it on. In this particular instance the original work (Deltarune) is owned by Toby Fox, so he created the original licensing. Kamex (whether he knows it or not) is "borrowing" some of Toby's product, and therefore the license, to create something new. It's ultimately up to Toby as well as the appropriate judicial system of government to determine if he is infringing on the original license. Pretty much: Until Toby says something about it, Kamex can continue to do as he pleases since he is putting noticeable effort into changing the original product.

Toby... He knew he had made musical perfection! Every aspect of the song succeds in reigniting the sense of wonder Undertale brought to the table when realising it was a special game. With the re-arrangement of Snowdin and also main theme of Deltarune (Don't forget) being snuck in there being played with Snowdin's strings and string plucks and the hotland choir reminding you of Undetale - but the arps, far more complex harmonies, vast array of instruments from piano to bassy synths to choir to brass to strings, and also the extra clarity in the sound in general by its lack of the usual retro synths or 8/16 bit synths. It takes the spirit of Undertale, makes another piece in its style, then makes it far more complex. It's literally like if music could 'grow up'.

Honestly, after the Chapter 1 demo, Deltarune is going to knock Undertale out of the park. Not that Undertale will be disregarded completely, but Deltarune's story seems much more intriguing.
