Everyone starts singing “Happy Birthday” as the giant cake is rolled out. Ned is stunned when Lois jumps out of Katherine’s birthday cake and wishes happy birthday to Mrs. Ned Ashton from the other, Mrs. Ned Ashton!
Everyone is stunned to meet the other Mrs. Ned Ashton. Lois whips out her marriage certificate and reveals Ned to be Eddie Maine. Ned tries to convince Lois he loves her but she tells him their whole life together was a lie. She vows to never forgive him. Katherine tells Edward that Ned will pay for this but Ned drops the bomb about knowing she is an embezzler. Mac settles the crowd down by having Miguel start to sing. Brenda tries to apologies to Lois, who is furious, but she is already packed and ready to leave.
The golden age of GH! The 90's were lit! Today's storylines can't compare.
yes, 90's were the best! Today's aren't even close-very disappointing.

Rena Sofer was so beautiful as Lois. She's aged well but this was the best she ever looked. Her eyebrows were FIRE.
Yes, she was. She was always beautiful. She was stunning. And I guess she never plucked her eyebrows, haha.
Poor Lois ... she didnt deserve this ... but hey if this situation didnt go down then what would we have to talk about here lol ... this was the reason that soap opera exists.... to get the juices going for all to revel in !
Ned absolutely deserved everything Lois said to him. Yeah I get why she was mad at Brenda but this was on Ned all the way. He practically threatened Brenda to keep quiet or else. She tried plenty of times to get Ned to tell Lois the truth and he refused. I blame Ned a hell of a lot more than I do Brenda cause of the way he treated her.
What a most powerful scene.
Ned did not just lie to Lois. He cheated on her, he slept with another woman. What he did really was unforgivable. And then once he got her back, he did something ever bit as stupid and lost her again.
I love Ned. He was one of my favorite characters on GH, but this was his lowest point.

@@beegee1960 I agree completely! I just hated the way he treated AJ and I hated what he did to Lois

@@beegee1960 and when he kept baby Kristina away from Alexis. After Lois kept brooklynn from him I was shocked that he would keep a child from their mother

Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) was just getting warmed up for her BIG wire scene fight w/ Sonny. It's the same screaming and crying w/ Lois (Rena Sofer) but Rena Sofer is amazing in these scenes. 👀
Brenda just needs to stop yelling at Lois. Good lord.

That was actress Meg Wiley who temporarily filled in for Anna Lee as Lila while Ms. Lee was sick.
