Update! Correct oral hygiene:
1. Waterpik
2. Floss
3. Mouthwash
4. Brush
5. Spit out the toothpaste. Do NOT rinse with water (Why? because if your toothpaste has fluoride, it should be left on for at least 30 min to seal to the teeth. Once you rinse with water, the fluoride rinses away)
Hello,, just watched your video and it’s very helpful. I’m curious, did you do these routines like everytime you had your meals ? Or only once a day (full cleaning)?
I’ve just had my braces for 1 month and still look for the best cleaning routines which isn’t too bothersome for me.. hehehehe Thank you!
For morning, i just brush my teeth with the electric toothbrush and then at night i do that full routine:)

i brush twice a day. I just brush after meals in the morning and do the full routine at night.

i clean my teeth after each meal/snack and juice ik that is too much but i still want to at least just brush.

Does a cleaning w braces the same as a deep clean? I’m getting my first cleaning in a few days & I am really nervous..
Cleaning with braces at home is not a deep clean. Going to the dentist every 4-6months is crucial as braces retains a lot of plaque if not properly cleaned.
Do I brush my tongue with toothpaste or without?
Better with toothpaste but either way works

When you floss you gotta be thorough and i can see you do it with braces which may be difficult
How do u clean this bar & the inside of your mouth?
Oh sorry, i totally forgot to mention that in the video! I just brush over it with a toothbrush when brushing. Also using mouth wash helps kill some of the bacteria on that palatal bar as well. Just make sure to swish that mouthwash very well.
