Hello David, how is the noise pattern in medium iso to high iso? Is it organic? Meaning is the grain pleasant enough for black and white photography? I just sent an offer to one on ebay; I'm hoping I can get this at $45; I can add this to my 6.1 mp CCD sensored DSLRs. I have a D100, and a Canon D60; I had the very first Canon xl silver plastic body; gave it to my dad a few years back, only to realize I had great memory with that camera, and awesome that I got one again for $40, which was too far from the first time I bought it at $1000 back in 1999. I can't wait to play with these 6mp DSLR especially with the array of prime and bright zooms I have in Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Pentax, and especially with my far more knowledge of photography. Part of the fun in playing with old equipment.
I bought Nikon D40, Canon 1000d, and this Pentax K100ds all at around the same time 15 years ago when I decided to plunge into digital SLRs. I kept the Pentax dan have been a Pentaxian ever since. Why? Because Pentax' colors, and because older manual focus Pentax K mount lenses are cheaper and way easier to find than Nikons and Canons.
I've owned the Pentax K100D since I bought it new in 2006 I have the firmware update to use SCHD memory cards I have plenty of Pentax vintage lenses to use on the camera and I use it one week a month for photography of anything of interest

Hi David,
Great video, thank you.
I was wondering, are the samples that you shared straight out of camera or edited? The colours look beautiful to me.
