Such an underrated Foo's song. And Dave's voice is incredible here. One of his best vocal performances of any song.

Dude, i love FF and Dave. But this is not half of how the studio version sounds. He struggles to hit the high notes almost everytime. It's kinda the point, but that's not "incredible"
Getting a band to sound good in studio is one thing, but if they can play live like that then it's the ultimate respect

I was on a nine-hour flight to Amsterdam shortly after 'Sonic Highways' was released and it was available to listen to on the plane's sound system (Virgin Atlantic 777 I think). After a couple of minutes of 'Something from Nothing' I was standing in the aisle playing air guitar. Couldn't help myself. Just pure Rock 'n Roll brilliance. And what a performance on Letterman. Amazing sound.
The last thing David Letterman did before saying his final 'Good Night' was have the Foo Fighters play Everlong. It was incredible.

This is one of my favorite Foo songs. I love it! I loved that entire album and I wish they played “Something from Nothing” at every show like they do all their other hits.
Man - Dave Grohl can really put on a great show. He had some head stuff going on like the grunge days. Great song and they are great playing live. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more views.
I am surprised there aren't more views AND comments. I have been surfing around for Foo Fighters live performances since January and more so now since we can't see them in this iteration anymore. Taylor was lost to us two weeks after I bought my tickets for the July show in NYC. This performance slaps and it has taken 6 months to show up in my feed🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

Woh I'm amazed that Letterman loves them so much he's gushing with superlatives! Actually no surprise :) He's seen Taylor when Morisette did her TV debut in 1995 on his show followed same year with the Foo Fighters. Thank you for this, gr8 performance
Letterman's "Worldwide Pants" financially backed Foo Fighters' "Sonic Highways" project. THAT's more than love....that was faith in Dave Grohl's idea. And that week of live FF music was epic! Check out "Stacked Actors" to have your mind blown.
