Yes, I wasn't screaming but my heart jumped and my mind said no, don't cut there! I like the outcome. I like to make table toppers for my large rectangle dining room table and place them in the center on point. Nicely done❣️
I’m enjoying the scrap busters! This is such a good idea to be able to change it to different sizes.
Always like a stripe binding. And yes, I agree with one going up and one going down border fabric.
I like your great idea of using the manufacture layout photo to place and use those fabs. Nice table topper. 🎉
This is so beautiful! I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for sharing! I hope your stash busting series will continue throughout the year! Maybe even just once a month would be nice!❤
I am glad you enjoyed it! I'm planning on keeping the stash-busting videos coming throughout the year!
I really like these colors. Great scrap buster video,
Another great scrap buster. Such a pretty table topper. Thanks Sheri for the video tutorial. The scrap busters this month have been wonderful. Hope we can do more in the future.
Oh we most certainly will have more scrap/stash busting projects this year!
Stripe binding for the win! I think I would do the border so they are sort of chasing the image around the edge. So - one up, one down. I would use all leftovers for the backing. This turned out so nice!
Absolutely love this. Especially your fabric! Thanks for another great fabric!
A really pretty project. The binding is great and I am going to be on the lookout for that fabric, in different colours and start doing striped binding😊🇨🇦
Stripes for binding is LIFE!
Had to buy some fusible fleece for my quilt guild yesterday and had some fat quarters in hand for me but realized No Buy Jan so I had to put them back. I had no plans for them; they were just pretty.
Good for you for having self-control!
Beautiful table topper! Border design was perfect... love the circular effect of the larger border! 😍
Awesome working with scraps and my stash for the entire year. Only buying if needed to finish a project happy quilting
Good for you! Have fun!
Your work is so nice. Thanks for all you share
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for doing these videos to help us bust those stashes that we all have. 😊
I’m glad you are enjoying the videos!
Love this tutorial!
I love the way you put fabric together…your charm pack table topper is beautiful!
Thank you so much! This is the type of crafting I really like.
Pretty table topper! It makes me think of Valentine's day.
Thanks for sharing the thought process.
I just found your channel and look forward to what comes next.
Welcome! Glad to have you here! I put out videos every Monday, Wed, Fri at 6am EST
Great video! I like seeing other people trying to figure out a pattern. It takes me forever. The other day I watched a video for piecing help. She said she uses a scant 1/4 " on all her piecing and regular 1/4" on putting rows together. That way she can trim the blocks down to the intended size, makes neater blocks. I haven't tried it yet since I am struggling to finish my granddaughters quilt. She is 12 and over the little girl stuff. Think I'll make a practice block and see how it turns out. Enjoyed this video!
That is a great way to get a more accurate block!
the large print facing down looks better, surprisingly.
Another winner. What a good variety of scrap projects you’ve chosen for No Buy January. Thank you for the motivation.
I'm glad you are enjoying the No Buy January projects!
Beautiful fabrics and table topper. I have enjoyed each project and look forward to many more!
Super cute! I like the idea of a baby quilt too. Really enjoy seeing your thought process as you work through from start to finish.
I think a baby quilt would be adorable too!
Yes! I was yelling.
😅 that was close, wasn’t it?!
Love the table topper!!!! Thanks Sheri!!!!
Stripes for the win..this is on my Do-It list. Thanks
I’m glad you’re going to make it!
Love the fabric in this little topper! The pattern is sweet too. TFS!
It was a fun one to make!
This is lovely...nice colours❤
That's an awesome quilt. I might size it up for a lap quilt. Thanks for sharing this with us. Love your channel..xxx
Fun project! Thanks!
This is gorgeous! Your fabrics work so well for this pattern. I'd love to try this also.
Looks great and I love the red outer border it looks very similar to an Amy Butler design I have, she designed beautiful fabrics. I have loved the scrap busters this month but to be honest I have failed terribly in no buy January I did last year as well 😂😂but made it up in March and July last year so I think they must be my no buy months🤷♀️
Very pretty
So pretty.
I think one up and one down looks great. I do the same thing with the top and bottom just make them go around.
Very cute
Great idea ❤
beautiful.
Very nice
I need an all season table runner - I can see modifying this to be longer and narrower very easily. Thanks!
You sure could - easily!
On your border, I would like it with the design going around, especially since it’s supposed to go on a table. I like a striped binding, but I usually bind with the same fabric as the outer border. It never fights with the rest of the quilt.
I use borde fabric for binding quite a bit too.
You could use those left overs to make you a very nice zipper pouch. the border leaf fabric would be enough for 2 out sides. the black enough to attach a zipper to on one bag, the orange enough to make a top border to attach the zipper to on the second bag, the the background may be enough for inside pockets on each bag the blocks could be enough for linings for the bags. The smallest scraps end of zipper covers, thin strips for zipper pulls! What do you think?
Great idea! I may just do that!
So you decided not to do the corner blocks. I missed that.
Your table topper looks very nice...I did free motion custom quilting on my longarm machine when I had one...I didn't have the computer setup for it...have you ever tried to do that? I enjoy your videos....happy quilting 🪡🧵💕
I’m not good at it, although, with practice I could probably be decent at it
Thank you for this tutorial. It came out really nice! 💕👏👏🧵. I subscribed to your channel. I’ve been watching your scrappy videos.
Welcome! So glad to have you here!
