I'm of the thought that vaccines are like any medication, they serve a very important purpose but too much of anything can be toxic. So glad that you keep us updated on all of these important issues Dr. Jones. Hope you and your family are staying safe and well. :)

I ALWAYS titer test, every other year. Have been for over 20 years. In the beginning when titers first came out it costs us in our state up to 300+ per pet.Now it's about 150.oo. I live holistically so therefore so do my 'babies'. I had a very small chihuahua and once he got the rabies shot he suffered from seizures and died at 7 y/of age.

OK, I asked the vet about our a titer test for my dogs. The receptionist proceeded to tell me that what they do is cut off their heads and examine their brains. No clue what I was asking about. Tried to explain with no avail. The town has shot laws but I am sure their reaction would be about the same as the vet. ??? Trying a newer younger vet. Plan to take the titer report to the town and plan to lawyer up. TY for the video.

I think I go to the same vet. Not really, but very few have a clue, nor do the cities, towns, or states who mandate the vaccines! Please MKS, keep us updated on your journey, I want to know how it plays out!! I tried for many years to change the laws but ignorance kept winning. Wishing you luck and SUCCESS!

I assume this was about rabies because this is how it is tested to make sure if an animal has died from rabies (since it is a zoonosis the vet would've to report it). However, titer tests are about antibodies which can be found in the blood (to be exact: it would require me at least 2 ml serum to test titers), so no need to cut their heads off.

I have had cats all my life. I have never given vaccines to any of them and most ived to 20 and were free to go outside day and night. Holstic vets of more than 30 years have noticed over their years as a vet animals are becoming sicker since vaccines were introduced.

Yes to Titer testing. Vaccicheck is same price as a booster here and done in house. Lost my best dog to an unneeded booster. Within 3 days she had pneumonia and was totally blind. Why an 11 year old dog with a history of vaccine reactions ever "needed" the booster is beyond me. She made me learn so much . Never would I do boosters without a titer first. Great video. Thank you Dr Jones : )

Thank you, so much! I'm educating myself & looking for a wholeistic vet in my area to do the titer test. After taking my mother's dog, who was otherwise very healthy, but years behind on vaccines, I thought I was doing the right thing by getting his vaccines updated & keeping them updated. Three years later, he started to go downhill. Within one month of giving him the new chewable flea & tick preventative, he was emaciated (dropped a severe amount of weight in 1 month) & his kidneys failed. Of course there is no way to know if it was the vaccines, but I personally think it was because I noticed him start to slow down the 2nd year. I also think that the chewable flea & tick put him over the edge. I am grieved beyond measure, to think this could have been avoided, & am now looking for natural options for my dog.
Thanks again. Thanks for being real.

Thank you Dr. Jones! I looked at some of your videos to try to figure out if I could find something to help my dog with his seizures. You helped me in my quest. My Standard Poodle was getting groomed at a vet clinic that required not only the annual vaccines, but also flu vaccines, and a few others. My dog had his first seizure at about two years old and after that every 2 to 3 months. He would have full-blown frightening seizures. Anyway, I decided that maybe these vaccines triggered the seizures. The vets told me that I was wrong. I had to find another grooming place, as the vets were insisting he had to all these shots.
Well, I stopped all vaccines for him. I looked up a few other things and decided:...To also give him a multivitamin that has Omega in it, one egg every day, and some high-quality colostrum. It is now 8 full months without any seizures. Fingers crossed....I know this is helping. Anyone out there who's pet is having seizures, think of the possible link to vaccines with your beloved pets. Try some alternative things.

My dog is not vaccinated again rabies since we no longer have rabies in France but it's mandatory to travel abroad. I find the mix valences in the basic dog vaccines like a no choice alternative from laboratories and vets here insist on having yearly shots done. I don't think it's justified on a yearly basis. I'm reluctant. But the tests here are very expensive as rarely requested. In a city there is so much promiscuity with other dogs. I had an indoor cat long ago who never went outside, had a long life without any vaccine.

    Great information! Two questions:
1.) If you have a titer test done at one year and it shows sufficient antibody counts for rabies, distemper and parvo, then are they considered "vaccinated for life", or will they need to have a titer test done every year?
2.) If the KEY vaccinations that should be focused on are only distemper, rabies and parvo, then under what conditions should all the others be considered, such as bordetella, parainfluenza, leptospirosis, etc? Thanks!

I asked my Vet about doing a Titer test on her and was told we can give her this shot which is $27 or we can do the Titer test which will be $350 and then you'll still need to get the shot. We have no lee way here on rabies shots you get the same response it's a "state law" even when she had a bad reaction to the last shot. My own experience: I lost my beloved soul pup from Osteosarcoma (after specialists & treatments of 2 years). I was faithful to annual vaccinations, including yearly rabies. I had been super on top of everything ; food- including making it, Exercise, play & cuddles- even made her own shampoo (she was Sharpei with the oily reactive fur). I stopped even Frontline after a horrid reaction ( putting poison on them to kill parasites just seem like asking for trouble). Her cancer specialist had told me of medical opinions and evidence that by doing those yearly rabies shots- led to her developing cancer. I was crushed.
Ff to years later. A pup that was returned to me (I was involved in rescuing) after 8 months. Hevwas in still in my possession when he was attacked by neighbors dog (he was fine- the dog bit me-then he bit the dog) Animal control got involved and we had to show proof of rabies for all involved. This is how I found that he had only 1 of the 2 puppy series. The ACO kept "saying just get another vaccination done" . I had no intention of doing this. I opted for titer testing, but it wasn't easy to find locally. I found that only 2 places (vet colleges) did the actual test and had to be shipped in. It was very expensive then & took 2 weeks, but my vet got the results and here was the kicker-
Remember- He only had 1 OF 2 of the puppy series Vaccinations..
and HIS WAS 5 TIMES THE BASE AMOUNT RECOMMENDED AMOUNT. From "half" a shot. It blew me away. There are groups that have report that 1-3 shots are sufficient for their life time. Do the research and speak with your own vet.
Thank you Dr. I truly appreciate your videos, and how dedicated you are to these beloved family members. Stay well sir!

Thank you for the helpful video. After reading some comments, I'm lucky to have a vet who does titre's (most in house). I got the DAP Antibody Titre done for $60+ tax recently (just wating for the results). My 3yr old dog is due for his rabies vax in early Oct. and I wasn't comftorable doing the vax (which is $60+ tax) and the rabies titre is $300+ tax (and done out of house)! My vet didn't reccomend the titre because of the cost and the chance that his antibody count could be low, but he did understand and was cool that I wanted to take the time to think about it and do more research into the rabies titer which I have been doing. I really hate how the titre cost is so high (even for out of house that seems high) and the vax cost so low, seems so unfair, yet a very smart tactic to get people to do the vax. It really is sad. I am however greatful for having the best vet in the city though. If you can find a really good vet, trust me, it is WELL WORTH an hour-hour 15min bus ride one way with your fur babies!

I recently purchased a 1 year old maltese from a CKC breeder who also shows her dogs. The contract has a no vaccination clause. The dog has all her core puppy vaccines and a titer done. I am having difficulty finding a vet for her. Any vet I have contacted has been very aggressive about her getting her shots every year and a host of other treatments for fleas, ticks, lepto etc. I don't want her to have all this stuff. 2 of my previous and now deceased dogs got ill. One go auto immune disease and we had to euthanize him and the other died of acute renal failure before she made it to her 5th birthday which was devastating. The last vet I talked to got extremely aggressive and nasty with me. He refused to spay her unless she had her lepto shot and insisted she have a bunch of tests for heart worm, parvo etc. He also told me he does not believe in the titers. He said the were not comprehensive enough. What do I do? Is it not my choice what vaccinations and treatments my dog gets other than the core ones?

      Hi Roxanne,
First treat the Urinary Tract infection as most dogs have crystals secondary to this. Good options are honey, cranberry, d-mannose. Cranberry will lower ph. Also increase fluid content, and alter diet to be primarily protein/veggies and less carbs.

I'm soooooo mad we can't titre test in Texas. What the big deal here is proof of rabies immunity. You might be able to get a titre test in a select few cities here for dogs, but it's hard to find a vet to who will. Cats? Forget it! I'm soooooo p****d right now. Something needs to change in the laws and regulations and it needs to change NOW. One of my boys did have reaction to the rabies vaccine, a weird growth appeared at the site of the vaccine two weeks afterwards. It was pendunculated and mushroom shaped. It started out as a sore then a scab(about the size of my pinky nail)that hat wouldn't fall off and then this thing grew out of that. It wasn't very big, but it just wouldn't fall off or go away. It was firmly rooted.
He also happened to develop an eye ulcer at that time that required long distance visits to the eye specialist for 4 months. It was a harrowing experience and time making the decision to watch it instead of performing a bifurcation of it.
More of a darned if you and darned if you don't. We had a consulting vet who said to do the same, watch it. Also, the interesting thing about this particular growth was that neither vet had ever seen this from a rabies vaccine reaction. So they said. Keep in mind this wasn't under the skin, under the fur, this was outside.
    I've felt vaccine tumors before.
I had to bring him in every week to have it monitored for changes.
Well, into the third month, it just fell off. I never saw it, but at some point it fell off at home, there was no bleeding, no nothing.
There was a plan to biopsy it after his ulcer was healed as long as was stable.
    You couldn't do an aspirate.
He has a permanent bald spot where this thing was growing, where the vaccine was given.
He also has been lame since then. Like he has fibromyalgia and arthritis.
His vaccines were the only drugs he'd ever had except for the anaesthesia and whatever needed for his neutering. We've always used holistic and alternative medicine/approaches whenever possible but know when to use traditional medicine whenever it's needed. It's these "required" annual vaccinations and some other things that are really scare me and rightfully so after this experience.
We have to monitor that vaccine reaction site every 3 months. They taught me how to palpate the area at home to feel for "tracts ... little fibrous arms or out growths in case this thing was to become active. There could be seed cells or finger cells lurking around.

Had no side effects “that you know of” is more precise.
All vaccines for humans cause harm. It may be as undetectable as loss of IQ points and as severe as death.
Why would we think that that would not be true for animals, too, especially small animals?
Does your vet vaccinate based on weight? I’ve never asked that question.
I just know that my cats have gotten very sick after multiple shots or doses.
When I say “sick” I mean as if they were poisoned, which they were.
We have some idea of what is in human vaccines because we can access the package insert.
I’ve never asked to see the package insert for any of the animal vaccines.

They had 3 in 1 or 5 in 1 and rabies every year until 4 years ago (when they were 8, 9, 10) so having had them vaccinated through so many years would it be likely that they all now has adequate titer against all these? I stopped 4 years ago as I just felt that vaccinating so much seemed unnatural... and somewhere in me Im worried of over pumping them with vaccines... can someone give me an advice❣️

Miri Kaku ...I stopped giving my Jack Russell and lab mix Vaccines at age 7 and they are now 15 and 17yrs old... after MUCH research, I realised they didn’t need anymore as had plenty in their systems and was more worried about over-vaccinating them... they never stayed in dog shelters and are very healthy for old doggies but obviously, observe them and if needbe, just top up every 5-7yrs if have to....I had a fantastic vet too who knew I had quite a lot of knowledge and treated my doggies as holistically as possible... she actually agreed with me when I explained about over-vaccinating them... when they are getting older, their systems struggle to absorb and break down these ingredients and put too much pressure on their liver, kidneys etc... you’ve done the right thing... obviously if they were in kennels it might be different as they are more prone to things....

Try Polysporin eye drops for Pink Eye. That will probably clear up the eye problem. I use it any time any of my pets have eye problems. Works great and fast. A vet recommend that one for me years ago. My dog got the eye infection from a cat. It is cheap at the drug store. I have not had to use it very often over the years. But the cat eye infections can be contagious as this one was. It started with the cat. A human petted the cat and gave it to my friends dog and I petted that dog and gave it to my dog. Plus you can use it too. I never had to so I guess it doesn't spread to humans. I did keep the dog away from others until it was cleared up, just in case. I always took him to seniors homes. Since their immune systems are extremely weak, I didn't do that for about a month, until I was sure the infection was gone.

Rescued a poodle mix. Was required to do rabies since his history was unknown. The very next day, he began "bunny hopping" on back right leg. I went from vet to vet. One said he had hip dysplasia (no xray just manually moving hips) and prescribed a supplement which worked like a miracle at first but then after a month, back to bunny hopping. This has gone on for a year and a half. One vet said it probably was the vaccine that did it (probably given in that right hip) and she could do laser treatments (can you say cha ching?!) She also suggested xray and other testing (and yes, this is a "holistic" vet). Live in a state where the gasapto comes to your door for every little thing. Really want what is best for my fur baby and dont want him to suffer. We are guessing his age to be 2.5 - 3 yrs of age. Any suggestions? Much appreciated

    What about cannie flu??

  • @kiethz8201
    @kiethz8201 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I have a question for you. It is about vaccines . Most of the ones for humans are made using live animal tissue. Like flu vaccines they use chicken eggs. How many corona viruses might be in chickens? I know human vaccines contain Glyphosate/Round Up. Some angry mothers had them tested for it. Animals carry tons of viruses, that are harmless to us. We also carry tons of them as well. They are all part of us and animals. We all have friendly bacteria we need to keep us healthy. Glyphosate kills that bacteria. So if that is in the vaccines, what else could be in them that has never been tested for. I am guessing dog vaccines are made the same way human ones are, using live animal tissue of one kind or another. Dogs are getting sick from over vaccination. Any studies ever testing, for anything and everything, there could be in vaccines? I know animal feed for example has tons more Glyphoste in it them, then is allowed in human food. Adding that to any vaccine could change that vaccine, into all sorts of other things. It might even enhance viruses. Just not the one the vaccine is for, but others in the live tissues they use. So in those live tissues, what kind of virus's, would all those animals carry I wonder?????? Chickens at this point is my main focus for corna viruses. I found a cluster of babies that got the flu vaccine and shortly after got the exact same symptoms, as this virus, they shut the world down for. They were not testing for that virus at the time and the doctors had no clue, what the cause was of their illness. They all probably got the same batch of vaccine. Those moms are now on a scavenger hunt for other moms, who's babies got sick, right after the flu shot. Before that shot, they were preferably healthy. So is there Glyphosate in dog or cat vaccines and how many Corona viruses do chickens have. Some rally angry mothers want to know just how many Corona viruses, do Chicken have. I said I would ask for them. In my neck of the woods there are over 101 thousand people. A few got the virus and only one died and that one was really old on a ton of drugs. Other then that everyone else was fine. The babies however had a problem and others who got the flu vaccine may have also had a problem with it. We are not allowed to go out and chat to other people so finding that information is harder to do these days. All the people I have spoken to never got the flu vaccine and they are all fine. Myself included.
