Explore, loot, craft and customize to take control. Or die inevitably. SCUM is a truly immersive, hyper-realistic survival experience that gives you full control over your progression.
You start out as a prisoner on the ultra-high-level SCUM Island, under the watch of the evil TEC1 Corporation. Use your skill, grit and cunning to roam and survive across the island's rolling fields, lush forests and other rugged terrain.
In an incredibly complex simulation, every detail matters. Physical threats aren't the only thing that can take your life, unless you eat properly and keep your wounds free from infection. Defeat or join forces with other players to loot and get better gear and weapons. Get creative with a wealth of base-building options and reinforcements to make your fortress impregnable.
The island is vast and full of ways to die, from fellow prisoners to killer mechs to evil "puppets" who are stuck between life and death. All you have is your belongings. Everything else is up to you. Inventory space is minimal. Progression is hard. Beginners die.
Oh, and one more thing... you're not just a prisoner. TEC1 is also an entertainment company, broadcasting all of SCUM Island's triumphs and failures to a bloodthirsty audience of millions. So laugh... you're on TV.
