    Really appreciate your videos about the detailed work of your displays. I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos in this "Christmas Lane" series. I like the section with Grandma's House, etc. I've not seen the Christmas Lane houses from D56 before. Thanks for sharing!

    Hello carl someone told me about your channel to make sidewalk. (Very helpful thanks) so i checked your channel and i see your doing Christmas lane. I was wondering if you had video making the platform prior to making paths and adding snow. Thankyou

      Thanks! The only video that may help with that is the tools and equipment demo video I did.

      Maria…thank you and Happy New Year to you as well. Most of the street material I use is from Dept 56. The cobblestone matting.

    I am going to try to mirror as much of Xmas Lane as possible modifying it to accommodate the space I have available. My question is do you think the lemax platforms will work as well as the 2” foam from Home Depot? They are a little hollow underneath so it may be tricky for the steps but I think I could make it work. I have several of them and would like to be able to re-use them, if possible. Any thoughts?

      My apology if you have answered this already but would you be able to clarify what is the depth of the top 2” thick piece? Sorry if you answered this already.

      Sounds like a good plan. Use what you already have and then if it’s not the way you like, use different foam!

      @@HalloweenVillagesbyCarl Is the depth of the top piece (2” foam) about 15”?

      @sandydemartini2479 I think it’s about 22” deep

    Hi Carl could you tell me the width of the bases your using I know you have said in past video’s but I have forgotten. Loving the layout. I bought all Christmas in the City and now I want your houses because the layouts are so cute…..

      I cut these to fit on my counter tops-they are 21” deep x 24” long.
