Did anyone think I would ignore this game? Not a chance. I just needed time to play and enjoy it before recording any videos. And of course because of my conditions for boss battles this run took some time as well. So... What will I say about this game? Wonderful. Almost everything I would wish in MM game is here and executed extremely well. Most likely it will be the best game of this year for me. And it's better than..... Nah, I'll stop here.
This boss run is of the most hardcore ones I've ever done. List of challenges: don't take damage, don't use gears, use only uncharged buster, fight bosses on highest difficulty setting and never buy any upgrades in the shop (well, the only one that would make difference here is the one that makes shots bigger). Without using gears these bosses are very hard to dodge and attack especially on Superhero difficulty where they are stronger and faster (Yellow Devil fight is insane).
Well, that's all I wanted to say. I hope you like this video. There won't be any videos from me for a while. I'd really like to rest after these bosses and just play something less demanding like a very very long JRPG. But don't worry - I have some interesting boss runs and playthroughs planned so I'll be back.

Yep! I just bought this game recently. I made a couple of videos on megaman actually. Still annoyed about legends 3, but you never know, they might bring it back.
I would like protoman and bass DLC, with their own cutscenes. Theye did Bass dlc for megaman 10 so why not? I mean pretty sure wily could secretly install the double gear into Bass.
PS: I found tundra's special weapon way too OP, especially the full screen ice storm which you get so much energy for. Torchman's stage was the hardest stage for me by far!!

This run was awesome to watch, but why is the music different?
Light: "Don't you see, Wily, Megaman is the culmination of both our geniuses. My AI and your gear system have yielded tremendous results. Atone for your crimes and let us work together for a brighter future."
Wily: "Hmmm, you might be on to something there, Light. Perhaps it is time to mend my--"
Megaman: "Actually, I didn't use the Double Gear system at all. Guess I didn't need it."
Wily: "Fuck you guys! I'll be back for my revenge!"
Light: "Dammit, Rock."
And this is why X incorporates the gear system more, and no longer has to consciously trigger it.

Fun fact about Impact Man: he actively hunts you during his stage, albeit in his three separate pieces.
I knew. One of the Secret Achievements adresses that fact.
Funner fact, his name in Japan is Pile Man.
Gotta admit, Superhero mode without any gear usage and upgrades is kinda tough on their own. Yet add no charge shot for no damage run combined in all is really insane condition. I salute to you, you're true Superhero.

Bosses,level design and graphics in this game are much better then Mighty no9.

Truth be told: If Capcom made Megaman 11 good they can also make Megaman X9 a masterpiece
I find it funny that among the 8 robot masters, Block Man is the only one to change patterns based on health during a buster only run. Everyone else always has their own pattern of some regular attacks then their gear of preference attack. Meanwhile, Block Man starts with one string of attacks, changes it up when he gains a second health bar via power gear, then goes to a final phase when the power gear is finished.
Block Man should have been the standard,to be honest.
The others disappointed me.

I am absolute trash in oldschool Mega Man games and in this one too, but I feel deep sense of gratitude towards people who play them well, because that is skill-based gaming right here.
That very thing we were so afraid will die out during the 7th generation.

I only wish I could play this game - IT IS AWESOME. Plus, as usual, it helps that (while the Robot Master Weapons and other abilities are fun to use and all...) you can beat this game with just your default weapon. THAT is always the hallmark (at least IMHO) of an actually well-programmed game.

In Megaman 8, the english dub has Megaman sound girlish.
In this game, Megaman sounds like a girl in the JAPANESE dub. (An edgy girl, 'tho)

Some of these fights feel like Mega Man X boss fights! If Capcom's big Mega Man project is an X game, I'm optimistic about the boss fights.

I recorded this video so I can answer most of the questions. So, what are you asking? Ah, why is this video with japanese audio? I usually prefer japanese voices unless at least some of english voice acting is really good which is not the case in this game.
Bounce Man sounds WAY too girly for a robot master that's huge. Really, Capcom? I hope the ENG voice is better when I get to that.
