    During the Vietnam war my Dad was stationed on Hon Tre island very different back then

      I was at the Nha Trang Airbase in 1969. We used to fly Hueys to the top of Hon Tre Island often. There were a few Signal Sites and the Radio / TV station on top of the island and we used to ferry equipment and personnel to the top of the Island. A lot has changed in the past 50 years... and that's good.

      Yeah, it's insanely huge.. we thought half a day would be enough but there was so much more than we had expected. Is Vietnam on the cards for you guys?

      Yeah one day. Not sure when though. We were going to go here last year but ended up in Bali.

    Wow it really is like the Disneyland of Vietnam! I can see why two days would be better to cover it all. I love the idea of doing it how you recommend - by finishing off with the beach and water park so you can relax. The views at 6:53 really do look amazing! Your kid was sooo cute at the end too!

    Haha that intro was amazing! This park looks amazing, really wish I went there now, 2 days definitely seems like a good idea. Do they do a 2 day pass? Loved that view over the park and the sea. I'm definitely a fan of the bigger rides!

    Whaaaaaat 38us for the theme park! That's real expensive for Vietnam. Does look real big though. Lottoria looks like a decent spot for a feed better wait there from the morning though 😂 thanks for all the tips hangry and Andy

      For Vietnam standards, it is. But it's worth it though considering just how much is inside. Which places in Vietnam are you guys hitting up next year?

    vinpearl was really awesome when i went there. you missed the part where they put up plastic advertisement banners that was made using microsoft paint lolol. i wanted to go to vietnam again last month but i had to cancel it due to the coronavirus.

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh what we missed that banner haha sounds so funny!! That's unfortunate you couldn't go again. We had to cancel a few of our trips too! Not to worry, when things settle back we can all head out again. Just need to sit tight and stay positive 👍 Thanks for watching Alex!

    Tina, yeah that dance was pretty bad 😂🤣 Nah just joking, but I can totally relate to not having a ride buddy! We'll have to team up at a monster theme park somewhere in an off season and Andy & Tash can just look after the boys while filming us all day!😂🤣
    My favourites at the moment are the pendulum style rides, but the ones that go all the way around and are rotating at the same time, so you feel like you are moving in all directions...add into that the aspect of possible lower safety/maintenance standards in places like Vietnam and you've got the ultimate combo for a nerve racking ride 🤣
    We didn't make it over to Vinpearl land when we were Nha Trang, but we could clearly see it lit up at night and it look ginormous!!

    $38 is not that much but quite a bit considering the location don't you think? They do have lot of option to keep the kids busy.

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For western standards, it probably isn't.. and considering all the activities inside, it's worth the price.
