to anybody wondering the washer size: there is a pack called "moyu washer set" on the cubicle for under a dollar, and it fits perfectly underneath the nuts.
@@CubeMasterYT I'm also glad Drew was able to improve on my original tip mod. I'm glad you discovered that you don't have to use anything to hit the thumbtack. I found that out after I posted my updated video but I didn't feel like it was worth redoing.
Also, you don't need to fully disassemble the hardware for the mod. For example, my wrm/wrm 2020 came with an accessories box with washers, which I used to do the mod
Really liked the difference the magnets made on the tips. Did not like the changes made by adding the washers. It did stabilize it but it made it a bit slower and it was hard for me to adjust so I took em back out. I also found it didnt corner cut as well with the washers in.
he solved a square 1 upside down and the is basiclly the same bc the bigger piece (where ur thumb shouldnt be) is the piece where he had his thumb on and its actually the same expierience/feeling
The setup itself should work with any Pyraminxes, but the mods are made specific to this GAN pyraminx (although they can be implemented in other pyraminxes as well in a different way)

Hopefully this will give my mods more exposure
Hopefully! Thanks for coming up with the mod, seems to work well with me and a lot of other people :)

Me too
M6 washers will work fine. The size is 6.4mm (about 1/4") for the inside diameter and 12mm (about 15/32") for the outside diameter.
OK I love this channel!
Man i love you. You change my live thank you very much that was very usefull
1:48 it is better to use the xman bell v2 screwdriver with the flathead srew to pry of the caps becuase the caps won't go flying
Thanks for the info!

Great Tutorial thanks!!!

Love the video
Nice, a new subscriber!
Nice video
Does the cube loose some of its performance when you take out the washers?
i have a question: with your ylm sq1 mod do i have to put in the edge magnets or is it ok without
What company do you think will make the next squan and when
Do you think moyu might make a flagship squan or a mgc squan will ever be made
Probably YJ since there has been another leak on the MGC Squan, but one from Moyu would be great! Hopefully it comes out soon

if the cube, after the solve, is out of the mat is it plus 2?
Hi can I ask is a ruler gonna help remove the tip?
Actually the rs3m washer works well ..
Hello. Which cube should I buy? I have rs3m 2020. Wrm v1, wrm 2020, gan 356m, maybe tengyun v2 m? Or cheeper. Can you help me? I not much like rs3m
I don't think I'm the best person to ask for advice lol. I personally like the Meilong M but haven't really tried a lot of those cubes, sorry :(
@@CubeMasterYT don't worry! Be happy 😃
i am abit confused, am i supposed to punch a hole through the plastic to get rid of the magnet?
That's correct, the hole shouldn't harm the turning if you be careful
Couldn't you just use another stronger magnet to extract the magnet?
Will this mods work on the gan pyraminx explorer?
한국인 손!
A challenge I wish you do:
Can You try solving a square-1 using left hand for slices?
Please🥺?

I'm watching this without a gan pyraminx 😅😅😅😅
do u have the exact washer size
Can this work for any pyraminx?
The setup itself should work with any Pyraminxes, but the mods are made specific to this GAN pyraminx (although they can be implemented in other pyraminxes as well in a different way)
@@CubeMasterYT Thank you!
I don't do pyra but I just wanted to give you some watch time.
Washer size please...
I ended up making custom brass washers with a 3/16" hole to fit over the stem.
