In your older videos you showed a bent connecting rod and said it was a stock rod, was that from the 5.3 before it was built up, or did the 408 stroker have stock rods? Going through the videos, love the footage, thanks.
@@GTStuning- awesome thanks for checking those out , that was on a sbe 5.3 I ran for some years , it made every bit of 1100whp thru the th400 for some time but one winter night it got cold and the boost went up a little too high and bent a bunch of rods lol motor still ran and drove just fine after just tapped lol but that was my fault for just sending too much boost thru the sbe in the cold
@ haha thanks , I think coming from the stick for so many years helps me grab that 1-2 with my shift light , think I’ve only tapped the limiter just slightly once years ago on a 8.0 pass at tx2k

@ good question! No lock up , no over drive , 70mph on the highway rpms around 2500 not bad , my ride along video talks about it and shows it 👍🏾
