Many moons ago I sang in a show-band that performed once at a Playboy club in Lansing Michigan. For us it was a fun experience. Met many of the bunnies backstage, saw how they were "just everyday girls"...smoking, gossiping, telling us about the costumes, the job, etc. I remember feeling one of those bunny costumes...hard as a rock corset waist!...did not look comfortable, to us, at all. Was a fun venue for us to play, and popular at the time.
If anything GND taught me about the history and privilege of the bunny costume. You both always mentioned the rules everytime you wore it. That lady is just bitter.

She did not, she pulled up, but rightfully decided there that this kind of scene just wasn’t worth it. I think bad nepotism is like when those celeb parents bribed and string pulled to get their kids into colleges that would have never accepted them. Kendall, Gigi and Bella are amazing models and earned their fame no matter how much easier they had it. Plus a lot of Hefs exes tried to be famous but just didn't have the same special thing that Holly and Bridget have. Kendra and Crystal are definitely nepo girlfriends but all their projects get dropped or cancelled because of their failure to actually try and connect to people and drop their bad attitudes.
Kendra Holly and Bridget were great. Crystal couldn't sing I think a deaf person told her she could. But kendra's Uncle worked at playboy club in Chicago, that doesn't make her a nepo.
@WillBlindYouWithLight well I believe Holly when she said in her book that Kevin Burns begged her to make Kendra her Peepshow understudy just so they would have something to film other then Kendra shopping or sitting on her couch drinking. Holly said no bc she knew Kendra would not be able to do it without proper training and wasn't just going to give it to her. Holly was asked to audition bc of her name but she kicked butt in Peepshow and was born for the part.
My grandmother was born same year as Hef and she did that little dance thing too. It was something she would do when sitting down and could not get up and actually dance. But you’re correct I have never seen that in old movies. Also, Nic’s mom was a bunny! What, what, what, tell us more!
@liacharisma if Pat Lacey was mean I doubt the show would have aired it out of fear of scaring off potential Playmates. I guess it could could all be based on the perspective of all the people who have been around her too.
@@Anna.TXRose True and this is one random person’s perceived experience whereas neither Holly nor Bridget ever said anything disparaging about Pat Lacey’s personality.

Nepotism usually relates to family. You guys getting a leg up from Hef wouldn't fall under Nepotism. You could say it about Hefs daughter Kristie. Im only using Kristie as an example. She may have been a very accomplished businesswoman, I don't know. I only brought her up because she was an executive at Playboy.
I'm glad Bridget clarified this was only 1 casting day. I was so confused that you went through 300 girls in 4hrs. That's literally not even 1min per girl. No rounds lol.
He tried to get the casino in Atlantic City and Vernon Valley Great Gorge in NJ. My parents went to that one There is a FANTASTIC video of Barbi Benton singing a song about the resort. Come to my country place. 😂

I think Holly was the only one who became very successful after the show. The other 3 not so much
You guys promoted the heck out of Playboy. I think the woman who wrote the article didn't watch the show.
My grandmother was born same year as Hef and she did that little dance thing too. It was something she would do when sitting down and could not get up and actually dance. But you’re correct I have never seen that in old movies.
Also, Nic’s mom was a bunny! What, what, what, tell us more!
So cool, she should be a guest on the podcast!!!
Love the podcast ❤😊
So good!💖
11:12 All Facts!!!😂😂😂❤❤
Holly, my cousin was a playmate in the early 2010s and she said Pat Lacey was very mean and condescending.
Nooo she always seemed so sweet.
@liacharisma Exactley, I feel bad that @xKarenWalkerx's cousin had a bad experience with her but not everyone gets along with everybody.
@@liacharismaI think both can be true. You don’t get as far as she did in a business like she was in, without having a bit of attitude.
She's a Boomer Bunny. Not surprised 😂😂
My favorite part of this podcast is hearing Holly say BYE 👽
Omg I love your white outfits and the hairstyles look great
I love you both SO much & Holly keep fucking cussing! 😂💜
Omg... the scream I let out when I saw holly wearing that cute asf outfit from the show... one of my favs ever
Thanks Girls Next Level 😘
My friends & I went to the Vegas Playboy club. The thing I remember most is the bathroom & all the mini centerfolds on the walls. Floor to ceiling! 😂
I don’t know if you guys actually play june’s journey but I downloaded it today and played it for hours while I watched bad girls club and it was so fun 😂
I’m 43 and you girls were and are still so epic to me 🫶🌟🫶
Do you remember an early 90s movie called Death Becomes Her, with Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn? I am absolutely convinced that both of you have been drinking that elixir!! 😃 So beautiful and youthful.
Holly, your outfit looks adorable! Is that a throwback hoodie that Bridget is wearing? I also caught the throwback tube socks that Holly is wearing. 😊
Girls you ever thought Mary was the REAL boss? She seemed to run it all. I love your show and watched the Girls Next Door and you 2 look great and it’s so great to hear how it was all these years later. ❤ I kinda like it more than the actual show tbh!! Keep it going!
Great video Ladies 🐰💝🐰
We Love your wonderful videos Ladies ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Girls next Door was one of my favorite shows ever!
I feel like both of you have benefited ABSOLUTELY. i think nepotism is privileged but I also think that if you don’t have talent you won’t last. I don't care who your mom or dad is
Nepotism usually relates to family.
Woohoo early! ❤ sending love from the rock of Gibraltar 🇬🇮
I love Holly's lipstick. So pretty.
He tried to get the casino in Atlantic City and Vernon Valley Great Gorge in NJ. My parents went to that one
There is a FANTASTIC video of Barbi Benton singing a song about the resort. Come to my country place. 😂
Love my girls!!!!!!!! We know who she is...I loved the show and i'm 64
Miss you ladies💕
OMG Holly has the cutest outfit!!! ♥
That women is so bitter ! You guys were representing playboy and always have shown respect and shared the history of the costumes!
Luenell who is a awesome comedian was in the movie. She was a paid actress, she said some people knew Borat was a film
Playboy is iconic because of you girls!!!!!
Omg, the boy short Merch, I had them, I was on holiday in Vegas and at the shop they were the only thing that I could get with each name on. 🤣🤣 I did think it was a weird item at the time.
Bridget your hair is beautiful
What a weird woman to complain about the girls … the girls next door was so much fun . You guys always made all about playboy so special … your show is now what’s iconic with holly , Bridgette and Kendra
i love these blonde babes sm my comfort watch frfr 😍😍😍
