I only viewed this video, to get a perspective on how the Isle of Man differs to the mainland; regarding roads, shops and traffic. Great scenery, and excellent filming...Thank you!
I went to the TT Races in about 1980. The ferry from Liverpool was jam-packed with motor bikes and when we arrived at Douglas the bikes were parked at least three deep as far as you could see along the promenade. An amazing sight.
I do hope u weren't parked on the cross-hatches just up from the old Liverpool Arms 😁😁😁 Love all the vids from the island. Been coming for decades and me and my m8 were gonna bin it after this year's racing debacle. It's just getting worse every year. We're probably gonna change our minds and make one in next year as we have the best sailings ever. Just gonna come for the island, beer and 10 days away from the wife 😋 I'm sure they will make an even bigger mess of it all but hey ho. No illusions that they're gonna do anything for the fans. Keep up the good work.
Someone made the same comment yesterday, also maybe the virus scared many people off from visiting this year but a friend said decades ago there would be bikes everywhere
Try coming from Belfast/Dublin to the TT any year and you will see why. There’s almost no sailings anymore, this year there was 4 during TT. The Irish have give up with the TT nowadays.

Good job a tram wasn't approached, you would have got some harsh words from the driver!
We went there in 2019. . looks about the same. Stayed in Andreas . Loved the place.
Isle of man is a great place
That road from Douglas to Ramsey is probably the most scenic roads on the Island after the TT mountain section.
Just saw my apartment in Kings court on Ramsey prom 😂
Where's all the bikes? In the 80's and 90's you couldn't move for them

The steam packet knacked the job up, way to expensive nowadays, cheaper to go to Tenerife and guarantee sunshine than being ripped off.
