When you condense Pals you increase them from 0 to 4 stars and in doing so increase their passive skill from lvl 1 to 5. I think is important to make that distinction. When you say lvl 1 = 4 pals, lvl 2 = 16 pals, etc. what you technically mean is 1 star(lvl 2 passive) = 4 pals, 2 star(lvl 3 passive) = 16 pals, etc.

Honestly it doesn't make much of a difference since the upgrades would still be the same, but I get what you mean. I can try to reword that in future videos :)

if im not mistake the medals you get from defeating an alpha pal for the first time give a permanent stat boost. you probs already have the boosts from this in your vid but its worth mentioning.

Aside from it being a cool pal which is valid enough, Is there any other reason you chose to make a Neutral pal a prime fighter? Dark type as a weakness is rough and common and they have no type advantage of their own which is another hard sell... It's a cool design and has a neat unique move but idk if that's worth this much work for it's type crutch...

It is pretty hard to justify using Neutral pals as fighter. With how many dark type pals there are in the game, there's always good chance of running into once and having that type disadvantage. I'm hoping they add more pals of every element besides dark to hopefully make this issues slightly better.

But depends on passives and IVs id say. Base ability wise is say even but if you use their exclusives it might go to bastigor

So from what I can tell, Frostallion is going to be slightly better for combat with their max base attack/defense stats being 1763/1443 while Bastigor's max stats are 1651/1443. That being said, Frostallion isn't able to get Siren of the void on them since they can't breed with different pals to get another Frostallion so it's honestly hard to say. I guess TLDR; they are more or less pretty equal in terms of combat abilities, but when it comes to each pal's pure base stats then Frostallion would be a bit better better. I hope this helps :)

Not sure if its a glitch but sometimes i get just positive stat upgrades of 15+ for braun and no skill gained or lost

So when doing an operation with Dr.Brawn, the operation will always either increase or decrease your pal's IVs, but the operation doesn't have a 100% guarantee of giving/changing passive skills every time. That's why in the video I say that it has a chance of giving your pal a passive skill. But I hope this helps!

From my experience if a pal has neutral(white) or rainbow skills (Basically all 4 spots taken.)
It will just give 15+ without removing anything because there is no red (bad skill.) To replace it with.

So it's best to use pals that have red bad skills or less than 4 skills slots used.

It's very random. As a rule of thumb I keep naked pals(no passive) of both genders and philanthropy/rainbow skills pals untouched. I just do the operation on anything else that isn't rare
