Great video! One Tip I would offer is to try and find a pal that's easy to catch (for the purposes of amassing traits) that leads to the pals you want, and to try and a find a pal(s) that are a common between breeding chains for the pals you want/have.
Thanks for the video! I hope that we get better management of the palbox and better pal storage options in future. The viewing cages are massive and hard to fit anywhere but a dedicated storage base, and when mass breeding the pal inventory management is really frustrating. Being able to lock a palbox or compartmentalise the 32 boxes would be great, and additional pal storage buildings with more reasonable placement footprints (I'd be happy to have one with half the space if it was half the size) would go a long way. Easier access to the palbox storage without needing to go to your dedicated palbox would also be awesome - a terminal that could be placed closer to breeding farms/monitoring stations/viewing cages would be a godsend.
if you play on pc there are mods to extend the storage space of the palbox & others to open it from anywhere. if that can help while we wait for any improvments :(
100%, it’s definitely frustrating at times trying to place the palbox, especially if you need the area to be in an exact spot. They have been pretty good at implementing qualify of life improvements. Hopefully they add something like this in the future!
Good point, I was trying to get as a high a work speed possible, but I might try breeding in the nocturnal trait at some point so I don’t have to worry about sleeping
A point against Nocturnal is that if you have it on your miners / loggers they'll never get off the mining nodes or logging nodes. Which means the transporters can't actually access it. Swapping to some guys who'll go to sleep made my ore build up significantly faster.
@@mynamewastakin I have never ran into that issue with running dark type or nocturnal miners/loggers. My main issue is that the priority of moving ore/lumber is one of the lowest job priorities
@gakm4931 That could also be what the problem was for me. I just noticed my stations being emptied at night and assumed it was because my dudes never left, lol.
Question: Why did u even bother trying to get good/perfect IV stats on a Pal breed for base work? If it was a combat pal that i can understand as i´m currently doing a large scale mass breeding to put together teams for the raid bosses. But with how mutch effort it takes to not only get perfect passives but also perfect IV stats, why would u spend the time to do that on a Pal that may never even se combat?
For exactly what you're trying to do right now. Pals alone won't take out xenolord so that means as the player you gotta step in and stepping in without ammo and good weapons as well as armor and upgrades will surely spell your demise. In order to get to that point faster you want to have the best possible "farming pals" so before you can battle.you must build.
@nosxillz_4115 yeah I know that but why the IV stats? IV stats have no effect on a Pals work speed. Souls can be used to boost work speed but IV's does nothing.
@@Shiftry87 yeah definitely missed that part I just took it as why work on them. But at that point I would only guess A. Bored and has no other real task in game. Or B. Content
@@Shiftry87 A lot of the top tier work Pals are also breeding material for top tier combat Pals. Anubis breeds into most of them so might as well have a good Anubis for your breeding pens.

This Video was very Helpfull thanks alot
No problem, glad to hear!
This video was the best for explaining how breading works.
Thanks, glad to hear it was helpful!!
Best guide I've found on this by far - thanks so much!
Also, an updated version with a section on Yakumo and other Feybreak features would be amazing.

This game could really use an overhead view when placing a pall box with a grid pattern and a set area from small to med to large and square shape.

Only 1 disagreement is that nocturnal js probably a better worker trait than serious unless you sleep every night

I'm sorry you have to play, or at least record, at such a low resolution.
