Nifirea isn't strong in that sense but his talent allows him to equip and use ANY magical item without restriction. So he could basically use the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown as if he was Ainz himself. That's why Narberal was on guard.
What's up friends, thanks for reacting to this anime As always, I will try to clarify some things trying not to spoil and using information that is in the Overlord Manga and Light Novel. It first becomes clear to us that the Slane Theocracy squad weren't immediately executed, rather they were first tortured for information, but sadly they went a little too far with the torture and many ended up dying or completely losing their sanity. Ainz has access to resurrection magic, but for now he is afraid to try using it on the prisoners, because he fears that their bodies will disappear and regenerate in the Theocracy, like they would in a game. He doesn't want to risk being found out by the theocracy. In the initial dialogue between Ainz and Albedo, where she tells him that she doesn't mind that he changed his programming to "being in love", we can see that Albedo is not as loyal to her creator (Tabula Smaragdina) as the rest of the NPCs, who always put their own designer first and then the rest of the "gods" or "supreme beings" like Ainz and the other members of the Guild. This something unique to her and will have implications later. Ainz feels very guilty about Albedo, because he trusts her precisely because she is obliged to "love" him and that is why she can never betray him. Ainz feels that he has somehow chained her, but since the situation is so dangerous and strange he really has no choice but to take advantage of it. This will often cause Ainz to let Albedo get away and forgives her more than others NPCs. Shalltear is programmed by her creator to pretend to have a large bust, but in reality they are padding and everyone knows it. I think it's already clear to you, but that's what Albedo means when she tells her "what you show may look good, but the reality is..." Actually the creator of the vampire was the most depraved of Ainz's friends and when he designed it he took the opportunity to make a creature that embodied almost all of his fetishes. That's why she's so perverted. But Peroronchino was also a great power player and he designed Shalltaer to be very formidable in combat. By putting on the Magic Armor, Ainz is able to overcome the limitations of his character and use weapons or melee, but he cannot use his magic unless he takes it away from him. However, this does not apply to some of his Undead Skills. The woman who is escorting him is one of the Battle Maids we saw in the first chapter. There are no human NPCs in Nazarick except for one (and he/she hasn't even fully appeared in the novel until now). Narberal is actually a creature that has the appearance of a human and that's why she was chosen to accompany him, but obviously she considers humans to be inferior, like almost all NPCs. Narberal or "Nabe" (disguised) is very powerful by the New World standards, as she is level 63, but Ainz has told her to restrict her powers so as not to draw too much attention and ordered her that she can only use 3th Tier Magic, which is typical of gifted people in that world. That's why all the adventurers are surprised to hear this, since it's very rare for someone so young to reach that level. In case of emergency, Ainz has told her to use 5th Tier Magic and if this is not enough to overcome the danger, then Ainz will take off his armor to fight normally. That's the plan so far. Ygdrassil Money is very valuable because, both in the game and in the new world, it can be used in Nazarick to cast certain spells and buy unique magical items, which normal gold from outside cannot. Also, it has this unique symbol of the game, so if they use it, it would not only be a terrible waste of a magical resource that doesn't exist elsewhere, but it would reveal that they are not from this world to other unknown players who might have come to this New World. That's why Ainz "need a job". In this New World there are many curious things. For example, in the novel it is mentioned that the seas are not salty and it also seems that, for some reason, everyone can speak the same language. But the writings are different. In ancient times, objects like maps were very rare, expensive, and valuable. They could also be a valuable (and dangerous if they fell into enemy hands) war resource. That's why Ainz wants to go up first in the hierarchy of Adventurers so that it won't be weird for him to ask questions and not be seen as a possible spy. By the way, Ainz also wants to take the opportunity to get away from Nazarick for a while and not have to pretend to "know everything" and be "a Master Mind" constantly. In his original world Ainz was a salaried office worker, so much of his reasoning is based on this. Sometimes this is useful to him, like with the receptionist in the guild, he used his skills as a seller to guide and get her to give him the quest he wanted. The old Alchemist who recognizes the potion is a powerful magician by the New World standards and in fact more powerful than the adventurer, so Brita (the redhead) feels intimidated when she looks at her in a threatening way, because she couldn't stop her if she wanted to take away the red potion by force. "Talented People" are something exclusive to this world and did not exist in the Ygdrassil game. The same goes for the “Martial Arts” that Knight Gazef Stronoff used. The talent of the young alchemist is potentially dangerous, because he can use items without restriction of class or level. ¿Can you imagine what would happen if he got the Magic Staff from Ainz? That is the same reason why the mysterious woman named Clementine wants to track him down. Clementine is actually a traitorous defector from the Slane Theocracy. In the anime there is a dialogue that reveals it but, in the novel, it is much more evident. From her behavior, we can deduce that she has mental problems and the way she is talking in Japanese always seems to imply that she is speaking with a sexualized double meaning. Before defect from theocracy she stole a special magic crown that once put on it must not be removed, because the user of it will go crazy at that moment, so she cannot use it herself. But she wants to take advantage of young Nfirea, the "talented" alchemist, to use it for her and thus cause a terrible disaster that will distract the Theocracy's pursuers who are looking for her. The elder Khajiit is a member of a terrorist cultist organization called the Zuranon, which specializes in manipulating the Undead. Well, I hope this information was useful in some way. Sorry if my writing sounds weird, but I'm from Latin America and I'm not really very good with English. ¡See you!
The secret with Ainz is that Suzuki Satoru (his real life "persona") is really out of his depth when it comes to actually dealing with people. You may think that is strange for the head of a major guild in the game, but really he got the job because he was happy to do the paperwork that was required to keep the guild in existence in the game. He was just a salaryman with no real management experience, and now he has to manage all these followers (who believe him to be divinity incarnate and infallible). He doesn't want to let them down, or lose face in front of them, which is why he maintains a very reserved posture and lets them pick up and run with any casual hints he drops. He is pretty skilled at playing the game though, which means he will often act as if this new reality was still the game. However his character's name in the game, Momonga, was definitely a clue to his personality/style - it's a Japanese pygmy flying squirrel. He doesn't react at all well when caught by surprise and is very cautious when exploring new situations, least it be a trap. Despite his incredible power. However given time to properly prepare, he can be quite formidable.
one thing you should know while watching overlord is that when ains is talking as the overlord of death he is acting everything he says is an act an exaggeration something misleading or a right out lie, only trust what he says when he is talking in his inside voice or you might get some wrong ideas
7:57 ninya the spell caster is a word in spanish that means little girl niña, niño means little boy, nphiria is called dangerous because these some items in nazarick that can only be used by their owners for example ains staff if nphiria where to somehow get a hold of ains staff he would be come a serious threat to nazarick
12:02 clementine is part of the black scripture elite team who is one of 6 elite fighting forces of the slane theocracy church she stole the crown and is running away being chased by the light scripture team that's why she is asking for kaijis help, kaiji isnt part of the church but of a cult that seeks immortality by using dark magic and rituals
I’m liking your Overlord videos and I’d like to offer this: try not to make any assumptions about how people are linked/allied together unless you’ve read the books first. Also try not to overly analyze things you see, you’ll probably nearly always be off in your assumptions. Keep up the good work.
why is the post credit scene so important its not just they went wooooooo .... its cos ains is seen as a literal god who created them every word he says is holy scripture even when he says something as a passing joke like hey taking over the world might be fun its taken as an absolute order, something that keeps happening which is both funny and tragic
14:45 you will se alot of blond people and its easy to mistake one for another ... i guess .... just keep an eye for what they wear and you can tell them apart
Really? I've only seen 2 instances in the series where people had a hard time recognizing previously introduced characters. Shalltear in the "Flames of Gahenna" episode and Hilma in season 4.
Nifirea isn't strong in that sense but his talent allows him to equip and use ANY magical item without restriction.
So he could basically use the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown as if he was Ainz himself.

This ^
And if the staff of aniz ooal gown broke/destroyed then the guild will be disassembled
"That's good. New characters!"
*coughs*
Yes. Good!

Too much cut video, 15 + intro? Original video 24 - 26 minutes, this is trailer not reaction, lol
As much as we can show without youtube punishing us :)
