    As far as simulating military command goes, this is total bullshit. Military command is mostly about assigning the right job to the right PEOPLE. Your game leaves out THE MOST IMPORTANT factor in military decisions - PEOPLE. This is as much a military simulation as a book-keeping software.

      Maybe so, but at the operational level of warfare its a simulation good enough, that with a more accurate database it's used as a planning/wargaming tool by many militaries.

      They actually don't, the Steam page for C:MO has a section in the description detailing how they model not only the aircraft characteristics but the training and decisions of the crew.

      @@hanhuman6375 Yes it does. I have played it and crew skill definitely has an effect on gameplay.
