Love this! It's so normal to not be in a relationship, and I wish it was more accepted! I always felt sooooo judged for being the 'single friend' and I'm glad it's getting more accepted to embrace being single.
As a bloke, I think this is some genuinely good advise for other women and its nice to see that there are kind women like yourself that do exist. Everyone should have standards but they should be reasonable and realistic. The other day I got rejected and unmatched because, and I really wish I was joking, I didn’t make my own garlic bread from scratch and that she only dates men that do. I’ve been rejected a fair amount and I’ve got to say, that was a first, but I feel she was likely trolling because all of my friends (both male and female) just found it as ridiculous as me.
This is such an insightful, well thought through conversation and video. I am in a relationship but I do remember having similar thoughts and feelings whilst I was single, I was so convinced another relationship after a bad one wasn’t for me and that was quite shocking for people but it is a valid life choice and I’m so happy that it’s starting to feel more acceptable!
I was single until I was 23 and felt so behind in life but once I was in the relationship I realised how little it really mattered and regretted worrying about it Now freshly single at 27 and its just as jarring .. lol There truly no timeline for things and although comparison is so easy I don't think any 2 relationships are truly the same and you can judge yourself off them.
