17 psi boost is normal IT`S CALLED PEAK BOOST it will not hold 17psi for long it should fall back down to 15.6 psi std when working hard in low gear`s that`s called the HOLD BOOST , it peak`s and fall`s of to hold boost . my mps peak`s at 21psi and hold`s 19 psi [ that`s on a std 2.5 bar MAP sensor with a boost controller fitted ] soon to be changed for a 3.5 bar MAP sensor

Yes, even though they're the same engine the two cars have separate accessports.
