      @@TerryAlbert2000 -can’t you add? There are more MPs that will vote confidence than there are that won’t. It’s a product of the last election-which is a measurement of what Canadians want. There’s no opportunity to do another pointless non-confidence vote anyway (there have been several in the past fortnight and the government survived all of them) because parliament is now recessed for the holidays. JT could very well prorogue before the session resumes. PP’s demand JT “call an election” (actually, the Governor has to permit it and might not if she feels the country is in a crisis -which PP keeps saying it is) is ridiculous and he knows it. He also knows most of his base doesn’t know how parliament works. But it’s the not-knowing that drives PP crazy.

    While these leaders eat and live fancy. We the average Canadian people have to line up at food banks. Pray we don't need to seek medical help. Let the supermarket flyer dictate what we can feed the family. Keep electricity and heat usage to the minimum. Deal and worry with so much more crime going on. Pay big increases in car and home insurance renewals. Can't find a family doctor. Deal with unemployment rate going up. 2025 will be horrible as our Canadian dollar is tanking and everything is going to go up in price nearly all consumer goods is imported in.

    “Debt:GDP Ratio” is one of the most flawed metrics.
    GDP includes government spending-which is double counting because the government does not produce, it only spends what it takes from actual productive value in the economy (taxes and money printing)
    AND
    Importing thirdworlders also contributes to GDP (most of which have net negative productivity).
    Anyone who leans on GDP as a good measurement is either stupid or trying to trick you

    The fact that we have a minority government still in power, that we listen to through the media to parties like the Greens and the Bloc, one which is anti Canadian and the other that is irrelevant to national discussion, is a testament to how far we have fallen. We have Trudeau, Singh, May and Blanchet...all with no more than 20% support, one with less than 5% and opne with support only in one province is pathetic and indicates/ shows that our system is broken. We need change, now.

      @@cinmanmoo I don't trust any retailers anywhere. When the CDN dollar was on par and even greater, no businesses in Canada lowered prices of their U.S. imports on the shelf. Books that have a clear U.S. and CDN price on them were not honored and U.S. money was refused.
