Shanmukhapriya Foundation, a non-profit research institution that works towards the promotion of Veena, Vedas and Carnatic Music is proudly presenting season 6 of Vipanchika Mahotsavam 2024, a two day festival dedicated exclusively for honouring the divine /celestial instrument Veena, on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami.
Veena, the National Instrument of India, is said to be in existence from the time of Rig Veda and is the queen of all instruments. This ancient instrument and tradition of veena playing, needs to be preserved and shared with more audiences worldwide. Vipanchika Mahotsavam is a step towards realising this vision for reviving Veena Nadam.
