Ha! That episode is probably coming up as we reach over 50 episodes now. The best DVD set in my opinion is the one that has The Phantom Planet, as it also has Time Chasers, Boggy Creek 2, and Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders.
Your comment about beach chairs reminded me of the old Lost in Space episode, where brightly coloured beach balls [!!] were used as props, to represent land mines in a "mine field"! 😊😆😁
It's not the funniest thing in the show for sure, but taking the crew's blood pressure while they are wearing pressure suits makes me smile. Oh, and which way is North in space? 6:02
9:15 “Allah’s name be praised” Ooh... _that_ didn’t age well. Well at least something didn’t blow up immediately afterwards. 9:35 while I appreciate the explanation... just how low is your budget that you can’t afford a simple piece of plastic? 11:02 wow... you _can_ see the set lights! You know... there were scenes in this that gave me nightmares when I saw this in the mid 70’s when I was 5. I feel so ashamed. 😔
Per your first comment : Interestingly enough, Jesus himself used the name " 'Allā ", in his own language (Aramaic) when referring to the deity -- it's a linguistic cognate of the Hebrew " 'Elōhīm ", usually "translated" as "God", in English language bibles. Not to get all religious or preachy -- this thread is certainly not the place for that (nor am I what anyone could call religious).....I just personally found the similarities somewhat intriguing. ☮️
And concerning your third example : "11:02" -- I have an old episode of "Tales of Tomorrow" on DVD, starring Leslie Nielsen and Brian Keith, which was set on Mars, and which very clearly shows the set lights (as the camera vertically pans too far up). Ah, the joys of "live" TV in the 1950s ! 👍🏽😊
Every year of my life I grow more and more convinced that the wisest and best is to fix our attention on the good......and beautiful.

@@wileyschmitt All hilarious episodes. Definitely in my top 10 for sure.
I have that box set and it isn't Phantom Planet, it is The Touch of Satan.

Absolutely right ! I could not agree more ! Thank you. 👍🏾 👍🏾 🙂
"Walk slow and stupid, we're on the moon"
5:45 “Hey, how’s your wire mother?”
Take THAT, Dr. Harlow monkeys! Watch out for that pit of despair, it’s a doozy!
That cloth helmet comment made me laugh way more than I should have.
Even for the 1950s, the "budget" on this is laughable.
"Beach chairs!"
"Even I don't buy that..."
Any use of plain old furniture in spaceships or even airplanes cracks me UP!

My work here is done, now you can all just look at my clearly defined area.
One of my favourite jokes from the "Mike Nelson era" !! 😁😆😊
By far, my favorite part of this episode is Briget as Noveena, woman of the future..
How the hell was Hideko able to read the Moon language?
Japanese schools were WAY ahead of their time...
Yes, I'm Captain Cliff Beefpile
The model maker foresaw SpaceX Starship when he made the rocket ;)
"Again with the finger!"
I wouldn't have gotten this reference if I hadn't just watched The Sunshine Boys the other night.
Truly a classic 50s short serial. Hysterical. What, no Dr. Smith?!

“The throw pillows are attacking!”
Now I'll activate my wings and fly.... lol
I always wondered if this movie inspired Gene Roddenberry if you think about diverse crew???
That could very well be the case. Roddenberry had many different influences, after all. 👍🏽
Give Heimrich the Hiemlich lol
They took a dog? Wtf
Yeah, just 1? Two cats & monkeys each for the breading experiments...
He said two of the crew were named Mimi and Rodolfo? When did this become "La Boheme"!! (Oh, they're the cats...)
Operation Fraidy Cat....
Quoting 0:07 today would probably be an act of "terror."
The navigator is BLACK!
The other crow...meh
