That is because LCD panels have backlit and on the edges it doesn't play good, so you have to add thin bazel film on the edges.

So, I am on the lookout for a smartphone for them with excellent network reception, and a 3500 mAh battery minimum. I see that their 'feature phones' (non-smartphones) pick up reception better than their existing smartphones, and they last longer too. Can you recommend any smartphones that will be as good? I know you have said some smartphones have better reception than others, but I forget which ones, and I am unable to find those videos.

Apple devices are good no matter what but Still it doesn't justify the horrendous cost. It should've been in 30-40k range. Everyone Knows Apple makes the Highest Profit per device compared to other brands.

But you'd have to lose a kidney to try one especially in India where you have taxes. I have a PS4 and a redmi 5 and they've probably given me more bang for my buck than buying a single iPhone ever will.
