The lamp has an adapter in it it seems. You should be able to unscrew that part and use a regular bulb!

I just moved as well and definitely recommend making a vision board in order to stay focused on budget and theme to minimize over buying! (I thrift for a living so it’s impossible to not want to keep everything so this is what works for me) hope it helps! Xx
