Thanks for the guide to crushing my soul into existential galaxy dust. Only after watching this did I avert many disasters. The rest of this grind can wait until much, much later.
Good explanation, it took me a while to understand how to do the whole process works when I did my first 5*, but this video is perfect for people who are about to embarck in the journey of uncapping the Eternals. Great work!
Cheers! I tried to explain as best i can but even i got confused a bit when making this video LOL. Theres quite a bit of things to look out for so that things run smoothly. Some steps can be done before the other so i guess its up to preference tbh, but this is how i generally do it
you can't imagine my face when i found out that i still had to farm after reducing the weapon and doing the fate episode... i should have watched the video till the end lol
Theres actually no shame in using method 1 to even uncap ALL your eternals if you're patient enough, since cygames always give free goldbars or refills the stocks that you can exchange for once in a long while (prioritize the ones you need/want the most ofc) . You really need to have an insane level of commitment for method 2, and its alot more resource intensive as well
Agreed, I too see nothing wrong with method 1. But for players that are interested in crafting ULB opus in the future, method 2 is recommended at a competitive standard. Naturally, tho, as a player progresses, they will find that 40-boxing would be preferable depending on how much mats they've been able to gather.
still waiting for that 40 box method. i watch the short version of it, but i dont understand any of it. seems like its the same as the 1st method (the one shown in this vid)
Thanks for the guide, it helped a lot (especially in the way thatI could finally understand what to do), 5 months of life went for Sarasa XD; now the time came for grind to uncap her, Violet trials here I come again orz
I just fully upgraded my gun, but I picked Tien when I first started during the Seeds of Redemption event so I kinda feel like I should worked on upgrading another weapon for another eternal, particularly since I now need axe relics to craft Tall-Tale Teller cuz I need a good main hand weapon for my water lumberjack grid. Oh well, I'll try not to let the existential dread and the fragility of reality break my mind while I grind to uncap Tien. I've looked up the process several times but I keep getting confused, but this was great for helping me get it straight. Thanks.
Good choice! I too chose esser from the event but her 4* uncap is just so limited in terms of firepower that i had to go and uncap her early as well. Its good to get her uncapped out of the way early anyway to get her 10% boost to drop rate. Also, for a good lumberjack water main hand, wait for water xeno to be rerun to get dante alighieri, it will definitely come in time before the next gw. Good luck with the uncap, and glad u found this helpful!
doing my first attempt on this. already 12 box deep on sword, so i might as well do the 40. i;'ll do the gold bar on the next gw i suppose... haha. thanks for the video
I just got my first eternal but wrong element (earth revenant for wind seofon) now im grinding for grids since im overwhelmingly underleveled (rank 121)
Aye, same thing happened to me haha (i got the fire dagger but quatre was water element). Can't remember how I did it, but I think i was running Dark Fencer at the time and kept retrying.
It sorta depends. The dagger is pretty good early and mid game for main handing in pretty much all elements. The sword is extremely good in some very late game content if you want to go full defense on something like Faa. But usually they are fine just after the element change for mainhand purposes (stat up is pretty minimal for more upgrades)
@@leviponce7730 I believe he's referring to the ultimate destination of these weapons, which is to be inevitably reduced. The weapons themselves do offer early-mid game utility and make for plausible filler Normal mods, but they are otherwise sent to the shadowrealm when you're looking to uncap an eternal to 5*.
@@karumida2013 yeaa even gacha characters these days r just as strong and more feasible to work with. u gotta start working on their transcendence at least to keep up with the meta
Umm I'm not sure. Perhaps anywhere between 8 - 15? Depends how lucky you get with grand successes. It will also depend on your current skill upgrade level (if it's low, it could take as many as 20 grails). Make sure to always have the journeydrop boost up when levelling though.
So im starting to upgrade an eternal weapon, is it the only way to uncap a weapon by using those gray bricks? Cuz I saw em cost and 20 gold moons is a lot, Can you farm them?
Do u mean the relic weapon? If so then no, i was just too impatient to get the stones/quartz at the time. I dont recommend uncapping using a brick. But if u mean the revenant weapon, u can get copies through guild wars or dread barrage. Dont use a brick.
@@Stormdaddy sorry it wasnt a brick, I meant a damascus crystal, I was googling. I was looking for other ways to farm them, and I found you do them on United and fight drawbox
In total, yes. The first revenant weapon from when you recruited your eternal, then a second one to uncap them. Each one gives 50 revenant fragments when reduced, but you need 100 so thats why we make two weapons. Thats method 1.
i explained in the video, jump to 6:08. The method is essentially the same, the only difference is how u choose to get the remaining 50 revenant fragments. Method 1: reduce another fully upgraded revenant weapon (requires gold bar, but gives 50 fragments) Method 2: reduce 10 element changed revenant weapons (no extra gold bar, but only gives 5 fragments each, which is why u need to reduce 10 of them)
nvm now that i look at the video, i didnt really explain it haha. But yea, its as i said in my previous comment. I'll make a quick video sometime on what method 2 looks like
Are you trying to play the game with only level 100 rank cap? If yes, you have my respect! I remember seeing some one at rank 100 with eternal skin. I guess you gonna be the next one then xD
Ayee yessir! That is the goal. At first i was only trying to improve my grids to prepare for HL cuz at the time i wasnt even able to solo omega raids. After i got strong enough, i just ended up wanting to see how far i can take this game without having to rank up.
Hmmm I thought some materials can only be grind on higher rank. For example the centrum other than silver centrum. How come you unlocked row IV without ranking above 101 when some of the mats only dropped from impossible raid. How did you bypass the gated content? Is there any tricks to it?
@@sakatagintoki9098 yes, there is a trick! Silver centrums i could get from grand order, but elemental centrums were another story. Ever since they had the update to have unite and fight bosses award prestige pendants, everyone suddenly had access to high level mats regardless of the player's rank. Of course, the amount of high level mats i can get my hands on is only limited to whatever's in the shop. Haha nah you're good, its honestly just the game lmao. I mean, i would've never figured out how to get relic shards through angel halo without having to look it up myself LOL. Looking at it now, the process is just so random and inconspicuous. They do try and explain through the gbf handbook goal tracker, but even with that its not very clear at all. After all, eternals r supposed to be goals to work towards for mid to late game players.
@@Stormdaddy yeah I've been using the GBF handbook but it doesn't even say where to find them lol I don't think it says anything about the star fragments either so I thought I was finally done but finding out I gotta uncap another now is pain. The rainbow prism grind is the worst as they're the last thing I need for the second weapon now. I buy them from the shop too but I can rarely keep a stock of over 100 of them with how they're needed for so much stuff and getting 1 per run just makes it feel like such a drag to farm. Watching this was painful. All of these materials fading into the void...... Do you have a good method to farm rainbow prisms ? Those are the real problem in the end for me. First you have so many that you don't think about losing them, you start getting the eternals and BOOM all gone.
Ikr, reducing all these weapons kills me! but outside the box, thats the role of eternals, they exist to drain all our resources to prevent us from accumalating too many materials. As for rainbow prisms, thats the part i hate about the process. Unfortunately, the only consistent way to get them is from Violet Trial (it drops 1 per run). This is the way i do it, I multitask while autoing it (play other games, chores, youtube etc). I get like ~40 prisms an hour? Also i try to remember to buy the 10 daily prisms from the shop.

@@raiuz8396 Aye thats good. As far as i'm aware, token boxes from story events give a decent number of upgrade fodder (for both weapon and summon).
