Your channel makes me happy and I’ve been binging your material because my gut tells me that something is coming that I need to prepare for… but hearing you quote “See a need, fill a need” from Robots just made me love you more. Great info. Great channel. Keep up the good work:

Prescription bottles make good fire starter kits. Some with Vaseline cottonballs, some with cottonballs, chapstick and alighter.

Good stuff, flints in lighters are sealed in a coating from the factory. Once you strike it, the coating is removed and the flint will oxidize/corrode with time. If the lighter is one you are putting back for an emergency kit, don't strike it even once, and once you do replace it for long term storage.

Sootch, you’re such an example of what a man should be. From preparing to feed, care, and defend your family to your work ethic, to your community service, and down to the way you speak about your faith and the way you speak to your wife. Continue your mission, we all appreciate you for it

Yep, contractor garbage bags. I can make a lot of things in the wilderness--tent poles, shelter, fishing pole... but I have no idea how to make a "bucket" ! But with a roll of contractor bags, I can make buckets of buckets. Good call.

NYC subway floods- It does, It even rains underground, been there done that-- BUT-- you have two contractor bags and a couple of bungee cords, or even HD rubber bands in your get home bag.
NOW YOU HAVE A TEMPORARY SET OF WADERS!!!!!
Won't last forever, but might get you through a stretch of knee high water .
    That is EDC Prepping

Sootch- you show good information, so that people have knowledge of things available. ..that being said, I know people that can't afford a lot of it. People can prepare on the cheap if their finances aren't there though. Ozark Trail is doing much better than in the past. Please continue to update us👍

If you can find an o ring that’s “tight” but still removable right even smaller thick rubber bands wrap it around the metal shield and under the actuator to keep it from discharging fluid in your pocket. It happens more often that’s not.

May I respectfully suggest a get home bag be a grey man bag, nothing that appears military or tactical. And we keep grey man clothes and comfortable walking shoes in our trunks too. We want to blend in, not stick out as having valuable survival resources worth taking.

The gray man theory is always interesting. I see people talk about being under the radar or gray man but then you see them on TH-cam showing everything they own, guns, packs equipment. You know their name where they live or state etc. at that point in a shtf situation they all know who to go to first and so do the cops, government etc… just something to think about.

My truck got stolen with a nice get home bag, including a glock with 3 mags self defence. I don't know what I could have done different. It was locked in a busy hospital parking garage 11 am Saturday. Video looks like they had some kind of key.
About the only thing I took from it is use a cheaper truck gun, a club, and maybe a tracking device in a small safe.
It took 13 hours to file a report with a human.

It's too late to start prepping now because of the supply shortages & shipping bottlenecks. If you haven't been prepping, you will be far behind where you should be. I see less food on the shelves already, and I hope it's just from simple delays in the supply system.
However, information is a good thing, and you can never know too much or be "over-prepared." Review & practice is a good thing. Others could probably benefit from what you know, not what you have on-hand.
All you can do now is to maintain or top-off your supplies, keep maintaining your gear and learning skills, and offer prayers for the country.
We NEED out lregitimate President back in office, an God in control of our country!

    • @discoveringthetruth9533
      @discoveringthetruth9533 3 ปีที่แล้ว

It doesn’t matter about which president is in they’re all in it together republican and democratic parties don’t exist It’s all a smoke screen!! It’s all satans system. Let me ask you a question If you were the ceo of a company would you let the people pick the person to run your company or would you pick them? I know what I would do. Well if you were the ceo of the world like satan is allowed to be for the time being until God steps in would you let the people pick the presidents or would you pick them especially for an important player such as the United States. I know my answer to this question . There’s no way I would allow the people to decide that if I were satan. If you have the question does satan run the kingdoms down here in the Bible it says he does because he was able to offer Jesus the kingdoms of earth and Jesus of course declined so my point is he wouldn’t be able to offer Jesus any kingdoms here on earth if he wasn’t running the ship here on earth for the time being because God of course wouldn’t allow it if he wasn’t letting him. I haven’t believed in parties and us actually picking presidents in about 8 years when I started thinking about what I just told you. Just some food for thought. Take care and God bless you!!!!
