In the manga he refers to the gymn as 'the box' a few times and also says its where so many students are spending their youth - the first japanese character in the word for youth is the same as the character for blue 'ao'. Because of this the colour blue is associated with being young, naive etc. Or...it could be because the curtains are blue and when they're closed the gymn looks like a blue box. No one knows for sure though so give your best guess!!

Its the gym. In the original one-shot the author referred to it as their “blue box”

the way i interpreted the situation about Chinatsu's staying here was that:
She actually learned Taiki's name from the name tag written on his scarf, presumably written by his name (hence the "you have a great mom")
Chinatsu was convinced she was going abroad and so was Taiki's mom, which is why she said "their family". Chinatsu probably decided last minute to stay in Japan because of what Taiki brought up about losing nationals, meaning Taiki's mom wasn't updated on the Chinatsu's decision until a little later, since we jumped to Sunday.
Glad yall picked up this series, the manga is amazing and TOHO really is knocking it out of the park

I think y’all missed a few subtle things. She knew his name the first time because his mum embroidered his name onto his scarf. That’s why she says ‘ii okaasan’ and he gets embarrassed after she walked in. Secondly, I don’t think her staying with him was finalised which is why his mum didn’t mention it and Chinatsu herself didn’t say anything (she didn’t know lol) . She tells him in the gym that she had already decided to leave till he reminded her of junior high. So her staying with them was a probably a rush job hence the mum trying to tell him the day before and Chinatsu probably finding it was his house similarly.
On a slight tangent, Lupa playing find the blue box the entire episode killed me lmaao. Can’t wait for the rest of the season

Highlight of the episode was Chinatsu giving Gojo's brother "Kotkat" to Taiki, along with Lupa watching anime about bento while other two watching Blue Box 😂

Honestly, I do find it pretty cool. I discovered the Blue Box manga right around the same time (just a bit after) I discovered the Dandadan manga. Was equally excited for a potential anime. Crazy to believe that they both released at right about the same time, and both are looking absolutely amazing.

The meaning of the title is more obvious in the one-shot this show originates from.
In Japan, "Blue" is synonymous for youth, because the color is associated with Spring (a long time ago, the Japanese word for "blue" encompassed both the color blue and the color green-- green was considered a shade of blue). The "box" is the gym that Taiki and Chinatsu practice in.
So basically, the title can mean "Youth Gym."
